Good Morning All, Happy March!Had an email from the Blue Glass Company in Bristol last week to say that today (Sunday) they were having a 35% off sale for 24 hours, I have already got a couple of pairs of long teardrop earrings from them in various colours, but I have been lusting after the matching pendant necklace, so now I have 2 of those coming to make up the sets (for under £25 each) and then then I decided to go for the amber glass set as well. They are very tactile things. So the South Coast job paid for the new duvet and covers which are still making DH a very happy man. Every night he gets into bed and says 'I love this!' to the duvet (he is a bit odd), and the local job has paid for me to have 3 full necklace and earring sets that I love.Bought DS4 the matching jogging bottoms he wanted for Xmas (£50!!) to go with his favourite hoody, but this week they were on half price sale (£25) at Sports of JD and it is a light caramel colour that looks really good on him. Then paid for his provisional driving license. Looks like he has plans! Now to win big on the PBs and replenish the 'silly money fund' and take everyone on holiday that does not involve relations.Got DH to ring his parents last night, then after 30 minutes, just when I thought it was all over, and he was saying his goodbyes, I got summoned to the phone and got hijacked for over an hour. !!!!!!! How can they talk to me for longer than him????Totally scuppered any plans I might have had for a banoffi pie suddenly appearing like magic, so that is on the cards for today. I have a tin of condensed milk in the pantry that is leaving today. I class it as tidying up.Scones will also have a starring role in the kitchen, although they might end up in the freezer (they won't end up in the freezer ).I checked my online T0sc0 account and I had £10 of vouchers in there, which will be combined with DH's £75 broadband switching T0sc0 voucher, so there should not be any major food spends for about a fortnight. Will do a freezer and pantry inventory and make a meal plan. Will not forget to check pantry for pancake fillings - they usually just want lemon and sugar, or jam or choc spread.Chased up some cashback that has not tracked, still have not made it to N3xt with my passive aggressive £175 giftcard gift, and am waiting for the bills to fly out of my account on Monday morning.Should find out this week if I have got a job, but to be fair, they are so woolly on their requirements and the actual role, I will not be in the slightest bit sorry if I do not have it.Enjoy this Sunny Sunday, do not buy any plants from the garden centre, it will snow in the next fortnight and they will all die. You have been warned.Good luck with the Premium Bonds Fairy!4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Just applied for another job tonight....... at the Registry Office. I would quite fancy officiating at B/D/M's, or Hatched/Matched/Dispatched as they called it in the world of newspapers. Will see if anything comes of it.The council website for job applications is horrific. So badly designed. Probably to stop agencies and bots, but it is a total nightmare to use and nearly impossible to submit before you give up entirely.Oh, and the banoffee pie was utterly lush, but why did I not do it in Goo Pots?? It would have fed 12 in those, instead of a wildly decadent mere 6 of us.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!
