Fallout continues from the issue at work. It is a mess.As is my house! Not sure the hoover has moved in a week. I am going to do coffee and politics, then clean, scrub, and change the beds.I had spent the week inside an air conditioned building, from 7.30-7.30, so this heat was a total surprise.I have lost 3-4 lbs, so into the 11's. Hooray. Will dust off my trainers and try and start back to running this week.4/10/25Three Years Mortgage Free Yay!

It's amazing how much time and effort other people's problems can cause - even if you are not directly responsible. Not unsympathetic - its hard out there and people make different decisions how to cope. Not always good ones
Well done on the weight - running is good for the spirit but not if its 30 degrees + be careful out thereI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long

I am one of those people who roll straight out of bed into lycra and out the door with a water bottle before my brain has noticed. I do it first thing and am home before 7am. Well, that is my preference anyway. That is why I tend to run alone. Noone else is awake. But then at least it is done. Plus parkrun on Saturdays. That is my summer holiday plan.4/10/25Three Years Mortgage Free Yay!

Can't see myself in lycra - was bad enough in my youth when I had some proper cycling shorts with padding - but getting it over and done with is a sound planI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Wowsers … that sounds like quite a work day! 😳 Hope the lunch made up for it 😊
Thanks for the shout out for Georgeous and Chloe - very kind of you.To offset all the nonsense, please do enjoy a picture of the two little monsters behaving for once 😉

Now I am going to have to apologise because I read that & then had a totally inappropriate laugh. As I thought well now we know why you got that job. You are a safe pair of hands & can deal with whatever c*** crops up, as indeed you did & saved them the bother. I would say well done but that sounds a bit condescending3

I will take any 'well done's in whatever tone anyone wants to throw at me.I was accused of overkill when I asked for the amazing security guard to escort The Muppet from the building, but he has gone completely off the rails (and probably on a bender) is stalking the team on social media and making a total nuisance of himself. Good Lord, the only person he hasn't tried contacting is me! He is a proper trouble maker.By the way, this muppet is 48, not a kid, he is a full grown man refusing to take responsibility for his actions. Total Muppet.4/10/25Three Years Mortgage Free Yay!

I keep looking at Guv.uk to see how much I will be paid next week. I cannot access my Sage account as the company never sent me a password link, I have been asking for 3 years for one. It never happens. So I stalk the governmental site coming up to payday..... still no info online today.Made a batch of scones and 6 individual coconut sponge cakes tonight because DH is going away tomorrow until Sunday night and I will miss him.I am looking forward to blitz cleaning the house in his absence. It is much easier when he is out of the way.I am still trying to find 5 consecutive days where nobody has a meeting / job centre appointment / camping trip / marking deadline / exam result day, to take them to Ireland. It should be simple! It flippin' isn't!4/10/25Three Years Mortgage Free Yay!

£360 and a new fuel injector later, DH gets to his camping site. He actually rang me to ask who his breakdown service and insurer was. He arranged his own this year and I put the numbers in his glovebox myself. He still can't remember how to pronounce Towcester though ( if you don't know, it is toaster)One of my 80+ yr old boys is not well, so that is a worry.4/10/25Three Years Mortgage Free Yay!
