    Sorry to hear about the creepy crawlies. DH and his parents had to deal with similar years ago. Heat is the main thing, get the sheets on a 90 degree wash (30 degrees is environmentally friendly but only gives you clean eggs). Rubbing alcohol melts them according to MIL, stick it in a spray bottle and go nuts.

    Even now DH tends to get straight in the shower after commuting and keeps his work clothes in the (mostly plastic and ceramic) bathroom rather than put them near bedding/clothing/soft furnishings.

    Oh ych a fi to the bedbugs!  I cannot abide anything itchy, scratchy or bitey even though I'm a 'kind to all creatures' type of person ..... having four (now grown up kids) and a couple of dogs and cats we've attracted our fair share of parasites and nasties ..... headlice, thread worms and in our first home a gang of cockroaches - I've successfully murdered them all, mwah-ha-ha!
