Well, guess what? I am fully scaffolded up - roof is due to start on Wednesday1st, Gales are forecast for Thursday 2nd, and it will be finished totally by next Friday, or so I am assured by Mr Roofer.So I contacted Mr Builder to let him know that I have loads more scaffold than expected (???) and Mr Roofer is willing to share, and he says he will start as soon as the roofers clear off. So roof will we finished by Friday 10th Mr Builder starts on Monday the 13th. So... finally..... Something is happening!Had to send yet another invoice for the ground rent payment, because they have sold them on to some other company, and the invoice now has to be made out to the client, c/o the management company, instead of just the management company, and they only saw fit to tell me this now, although this is what has held up the payment since April . I know it is only a small amount in the world of high finance and property management, but it is my £196 a year, and they are not entitled to it. I am sure they make it as difficult as possible to make you think s0d it, it is not worth my time. Well I am not going away. I am an a$$.Tomorrow is payday, thank goodness, it has taken quite a while in coming round this month. Only worked for one day, and my expenses claim is more than my actual wages earnt. The roofer's scaffold will be up until around 15th but the builder might contact the scaffolder and keep it up - it will be cheaper! So it should still be up until around the end of December, depending on how drunk the scaffolders are.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!
