I prefer your style of working to the regular hours per week. That way you are either working or not. Today was a fab day. I managed to totally swerve a situation that was rapidly heading toward being a full on international incident, it was in danger of becoming very loud and very, very messy. Had a total brainwave, which ended with them praising my efforts loudly, getting a round of applause, and a hug from one of them, and the look on my manager's face was flippin priceless. Ho ho ho. Definitely earned my money today. Tomorrow is my last working day here.
Feeling really chilled and relaxed after some really quite horrific rudeness aimed at us today.
Hooray for tea, kettles, and hotel rooms. Had BK fast food for supper, not had it for nearly 30 years! Won't be hurrying back for more, but it was needed tonight just so I could eat quickly and get on with the important business of relaxing.

I am back. Got home on Saturday afternoon and walked into a 'situation' between Dr F,-H and Ds1 which totally exploded messily all over the place this morning. DS1 has been given the ultimation - find a job or leave the house.
DH is disgusted with him. DS1 quit his 6 week training course this morning and refused to get out of bed.
DH is now on half pay, and knowing that I was doing 12/14 hour days for the last two weeks pushed him over his tolerance level for lazy 20 year olds. Cue: Explosion 💥💥
DS1 went and registered with employment agencies in town, after DH packed half his bedroom into storage boxes and locked them in the shed.
I think he might have got the message.
I hate conflict in my house.
