Ugh … tough one ….

Tbh, I do rather agree with Dr F-H … it wouldn’t even be as bad if DS1 was doing things to help around the house, but he’s being completely passive. In a way, I’m kind of glad that this has happened as it sounds like the catalyst that DS1 needed, but 100% get how stressful that must have been to be in, especially immediately after a busy week working away! Sending hugs. 

Hoping some normality and calm descends over the weekend for you all.

Ds1 has been into agencies yesterday and is quite positive... although seemingly bewildered why Dr F-H is suddenly so annoyed with him (DS1 is Captain Oblivious).  

I convinced Dr F-H not to cancel his planned weekend away, he needs distance, and I need not to be worried about him exploding.   Hopefully DS1 will be employed quickly ending this horrible situation... then he can move on to DS2.  He went into the agencies again this morning with his passport and NI number.  He has registered for office, and industrial work.

Limbo time till payday again. Whatever I get from Dr F-H is a bonus, I can cover the bills from my work this month.

Popped into the local UiT travel agency this morning, and there are still things to book going next week and the week after - all inclusive for £600pp or self catering for £329, so keep your fingers crossed for the premium bonds in four days  (not that I am counting (I am counting!!))

I don’t just count the days down to pb draw, I generally waken in the early hours to see if I’ve won.

This morning I am going to charity shops looking for poolside wear. Always surprised to see the same pattern in different shops, but they often still have the labels on or the hygiene thing still on them. Mix and match tops and bottoms.
Then buying a couple of french sticks 🥖 and some butter and olives. Quick bob into Lidl for Asian week cheapies. 
Last night I made pizzas,  so extra sauce got vegeminced and fridged and is ready for spag bol tonight. 
Feeling quite organised.

I am now organised with 4 bikinis and a swimsuit that I did not have this morning  - £3.50 each,  + 3 beach/poolside cover ups for £1 each.  I am prepared!!

Rang DS1 and asked him to  feed his brothers, as I would not be home at lunchtime (got home at 2pm) so they had pasta, and lunch will now be supper.

49p glass noodles from Herr L's, £1 0atly choc fudge ice cream from Herr Ron. YS beansprouts, and olives, pickles, and hummus, so  tomorrow will be a NSD as I have no money left in the budget, so just made £15 on p/a, and payday is Monday.   

Back doing the end of month Limbo dance.

Oh dear, we are on half pay, backdated from god knows when (possibly June) so DH is in a flap - I am very glad we are in a good financial position - he fears he has lost all his holidays, as they do not seem to be taken into account within the half pay period.  I have refunded him half the housekeeping or he would have less than £400 in the bank.  He is currently very grumpy.  Just what I need!  Luckily I got paid for the 3 jobs I did (was only expecting 2) so the bills are all paid, the credit card is empty, and a little bit shunted to savings.  Not working again until September.

Did not win the big money on the pb's - trawled through the spreadsheet checking locations and holdings,  but hopefully will win a couple of smaller amounts - will find out tomorrow on the magic app.

That all sounds a bit stressful. 😢

How much is Mr FH working during this period? Did I misremember or did he have a book deal you could distract him with?
