I bought loads from the coop in Whitby when they - along with organic cacao powder and loads of other organic nuts and seeds - were all less than 50p a bag. DH pits them in his mushroom Chinese dishes. Stuck a big spoon of thinly sliced dried orange peel into the melted butter, sugar, berries, nuts, and seeds before I threw the oats in. The flapjacks have just come out of the oven and they smell amazing 😍.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Just cashed out £50 from GovYou? should be in my account tomorrow. Took forever to get those last 300 points!Shopping was much more difficult than I planned - quickly googled what not to do after a biopsy this morning, and apparently you should not lift anything - so sacked off the volunteering, where I regularly lift 15kg crates above my head, and went shopping (idiot that I am), now I am sore. I did not lift bags of shopping - I put everything into the trolley individually, scanned it, put it back in the trolley, and then filled the bags one by one in the boot of my car. Ache like Billy-0 now. Definitely right to cancel the volunteering and called DH to empty the boot of the car when I got home. Nobody told me not to do these things!! Just that I might feel a bit crampy... off you go back into the wild...... with £15 left in the bank until Monday, and then I got my last GovYou survey! Hooray for an unexpected £50.Got confirmation of a day of work at the end of June (£130 for 8 hours), plus an overnight hotel stay, and that will be just lovely! Hope I can do it and everything comes back from the lab as A-Ok and no further interventions necessary.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!
