I admire your tenacity, I've not bothered with the GP for my peri symptoms, couldn't be doing with the hassle. Found some lovely herbal stuff that has so far stopped the hideous hot flushes and made me feel less inclined to murder anyone. Such a fun time of life!

I showed DS3 the list of big winners, so he could see how much they won, where they lived, how much they held in bonds and for how long, he thought it was absolutely hilarious that someone with £2 in bonds bought in 1958 won £10k yesterday. He has a whole £50, but I have the full whack (since March) - so statistically I should win every month, DS3 told me with the utter certainty of a 15 year old boy 'actually it's twice a month Mum'. Thanks kid.

Not sure what I will do with it (when it gets here). It is going to go into the newly started Holiday Fund I think- I have been scrimping and saving to get to my savings target for so long, but now I have done it. I can start to plan in fun things. So it will stay away from this month's budget money - a new tyre is not exciting nor fun, and neither is DS4s school camp trip - well, it will be fun for him, but not so much for me.

Got my £200 switch bonus this morning, so that was nice to wake up to.  

Cleaned 4 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms, drilled holes and put up two mirrors and a framed print. Hoovered from the top down, stole everyone's bins, and dirty laundry (urgh!),and mugs,  bowls and glasses, and most of the house is all now clean and tidy.  Even the living room!! Sorted out more candles to burn, as it is getting chilly around 8.30pm when the curtains get closed  and a couple of candles keep the room at a nice temperature so no heating needed. Had the windows open and the house is nicely aired.

Still have the back room and the diner and kitchen to do, and all the laundry and washing up, but it is ok, as most of the house is clean and tidy and I do not have to worry about the top two floors until next weekend when the beds need changing.

Just about to knock up a pizza dough for supper tonight, and get on with The Washing Up Saga - Part One.
