Another case of demonic possession today.  Skipped out three kids bedrooms, totally, every drawer, cube shelf, under bed drawer, everywhere.  Cleaned, dusted, hoovered and beds changed.  Did my bedroom too - DH is not as bad as the kids, but I have been training him since 1997 .  One bathroom cleaned, one half cleaned and I will finish my cup of tea and go and finish that bathroom in a minute, and hoover down the last set of stairs.  Then the ground floor will start tomorrow.

Masses of washing up was done, after liberating over 20 mugs, glasses, and bowls from bedrooms (none from mine!)

It is getting dark at 7.30pm!!  Exciting times!

DH is away from 7am on Tuesday, so I will send my time wisely next week, meaning clearing and cleaning the ground floor bits now the top two floors are in order, without DH to distract me.

Supper tonight was french bread pizzas with artichokes, sweetcorn and olives (2 hotdog sausages were molested during the making of these pizza breads) the kids loved it.  It took all of 15 minutes to make, including making the tomato sauce.

House insurance refund appeared in my bank account today  £260

Hospital discharge papers suddenly appeared in my e-mailbox - health insurers contacted - will forward them  on when I get their email address.

Solicitors are sending me a letter (well, that will be exciting (not)) but it did not arrive today - because they lie!!

And there is a Have I Got News for Boris - Goodbye Special on tonight.

Well the nutjob got it. I have a weird sense of doom now and a new urgency to plan for the winter months.

I don't rate either of the choices.... (nor the predecessor!) - all hopelessly out of touch.

Wow you sound so busy. Glad the business with the s/g estate is nearly  finished - it sounds exhausting.

At least you will be able to sort your home out as well - that is a lovely way to use the inheritance.

Had to print out the hospital discharge notes, and send them by mail with a cover letter to the Axey Insurance People.  They can do their thing and get back to me.  There is no reason for them to make this so difficult.

Just bought my train tickets for work in Brum in a couple of weeks.  Have not been in Brum since before kids. The Merkat  and Edwards No. 8 are no longer there, but still I am excited about being near Chinatown again. Just a two nighter, but still, it is all money in the bank. Plus I get to go to Birmingham!

Still not received the letter from the solicitor. No surprise there.

I made a lovely filo pastry apple, sultana, and cinnamon pie. Lush.

UlsterB0nk account has been closed and a cheque sent to the solicitor 6 days ago - I found out this morning when I rang the England phone bereavement number of the Norn Iron Bank - solicitor says they do not have it yet.

I got a change of ownership form for her ground rents this morning,  so need those witnessed, and then, I think, it is job done.  They can split the money - except we are dealing with people aged 79 - 84, and I am not sure how important this is to them.  Not very, I expect.

I sold my mum's flat Feb 2020. The solicitor went bankrupt. I'm told the money is 'safe' but it's still not in her bank. (That's a long story cut very short)
