  • That sounds a bit bonkers that GPs only keep records for 30 days when there is loads of admin to do when someone dies.
My DD is in her 20s and recently got sunburned so she still hasn't learned!
I have never been in a wading bird store - is it a good place for veggies?

  • Oooh thanks for the info on the Wading Bird Shop, there is one of those in walking distance of my work so i can go on my way home when going back to the car park, I'll keep checking it out :)
I like going to new places too.  When it was my DDs graduation we were supposed to be at uni at 8am - her sis curled her hair (long & thick) & did her make up so there was no time for breakfast! But I did pack a cereal bar and banana :) Hope it goes well

I can imagine nerves for graduation make the idea of breakfast less than appealing and then people underestimate how long the day can be.

I can still remember being very lucky to make mine, i had food poisoning for a week beforehand (courtesy of a hot July, a pool match OH was playing in and some clearly dubious half time food - we were both appallingly ill). I had a week of largely being bedridden and my graduation was not only the first time me leaving the house in over a week, it was pretty much the first time of me eating or drinking anything. Suffice to say it was a very sober affai (but lovely, held at the Imperial War Museum)

welcome back sounds like you had a right good time.  Haven't been to Manchester a lot, but had a couple of fun long weekends there in my youth and once again post lockdown
I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine
