That sounds a bit bonkers that GPs only keep records for 30 days when there is loads of admin to do when someone dies.
My DD is in her 20s and recently got sunburned so she still hasn't learned!
I have never been in a wading bird store - is it a good place for veggies?

The one lady (who was a human being) I got through to in one of the hospital's records departments was not impressed with the G.P surgery doing that.In the wading bird shop Vegan B&J ice cream is £2, plant milk is not usually over 90p (the posh branded stuff) and often 3 or 4 for £1 Fry's burgers and sausages 2 for £1.50 instead of £2.50 for one in Mr T's.1.5kg of vegetarian butcher not chickn pieces for £2. when 300g costs more than that in all the other supermarkets.1.5kg linda mac mince £1. etc.It is owned by B&M who have just used the same model, and applied it to food. You have no idea what is going to be in there on a weekly basis, but well worth sticking your head in once a fortnight. You could not write a list and head in there for a weekly shop, but you can nearly always find a bargain... like Fl0ra plant butter for 10p instead of £1.89 in TOscOIf you have a freezer, Wading Bird Store is worth it.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Got an email this morning telling me I get an extra bonus for every day I work, plus they have raised the meal allowance. So an extra £200. Thank you very much. Makes you wonder what they are expecting, to offer us danger money in advanceThe weather is going to be horridly hot, we will have crowds and queues and no doubt fainters. Why anyone thinks skipping breakfast on their graduation day is a good idea, and doesn't even pack a cereal bar in their bag, is quite frankly beyond me.I have hand gel, masks, and disinfectant wipes packed (and knickers!!)Feeling excited to be somewhere else, even for a few nights, and just checked the yha welcomes arrivals until 10pm, so all good on that front and it means I won't be driving until midnight on Friday night, I can travel at my own pace on Saturday morning.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Oooh thanks for the info on the Wading Bird Shop, there is one of those in walking distance of my work so i can go on my way home when going back to the car park, I'll keep checking it out
I like going to new places too. When it was my DDs graduation we were supposed to be at uni at 8am - her sis curled her hair (long & thick) & did her make up so there was no time for breakfast! But I did pack a cereal bar and bananaHope it goes well

I can imagine nerves for graduation make the idea of breakfast less than appealing and then people underestimate how long the day can be.
I can still remember being very lucky to make mine, i had food poisoning for a week beforehand (courtesy of a hot July, a pool match OH was playing in and some clearly dubious half time food - we were both appallingly ill). I had a week of largely being bedridden and my graduation was not only the first time me leaving the house in over a week, it was pretty much the first time of me eating or drinking anything. Suffice to say it was a very sober affai (but lovely, held at the Imperial War Museum)Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

And, she's back in the room! After the expenses and allowances come back, it will have been a very low spend week. Got hit by diversions coming across the peaks - Ms SatNav could not cope, but ended up going god knows where, found a new (to me) reservoir, ended up coming over The Cat and Fiddle instead of Goyt Valley or Snake Pass, or Ladybower, anyway, I got my fix of Greater Manchester Area accents, and had a fab time as it was 10 degrees cooler up there than in LeShire, where everybody has (apparently) been slowly melting.Met lots of new people and had a very funny, very silly, very well paid (future money) time away, making other people happy.Slept in a YHA which was just weird. There is the main building which is shown on the website, large facade, imposing stature, nice rooms, then was told to go out of the building and follow the path round, and it was room number 3, which was like a beach hut, or maybe a stable, anyway it was smaller than a shipping container, with 4 bunks, and sadly the other 2 occupants snored like chainsaws!! Got there at 10pm, and by 5 am I was heartily sick of the whole affair, so was already coffee'd up and in my car driving home by 7.10. It was only £15 for the night, but still!! Urgh! I was back home by 10.30 and took a covid test, which is negative (hooray!) and now I need to get on with cleaning the house and doing the laundry.DH is very glad to see me, as were DS3 and 4. DS2 (the toad) even said he had missed me, then he asked where I had been anyway (grrrr!!) They asked DH every mealtime where I was4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Should pay for all the Summer holiday fun activities, plus the bits of school uniform needed before September. So well worth doing, and will do all the gigs I can while it lasts.

Not much going on in the whole 'money saving' or 'mortgage overpayment' sphere.Just ticking along, trying not to melt into a puddle, wondering how to make any money from s/g's personal items, when most of them seem to be very low ticket items.Should get paid next Friday, I will do my expenses today.DH decided last night he is going to revisit his love affair with AC/DC and spend today writing his latest conference paper, and singing loudly .Tonight's gluten free meal will be a potato and spinach curry and rice, with carrot and courgette pakoras, poppadoms, and mango chutney. There is nothing not to like about that feast.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!
