Well we went out to a lovely Indian restaurant for  the Anniversary lunch (the one those Hairy Bykers went to with the motorbike in it), 6 people, starters plus mains, £108 (£9 of it was service charge).  We are all so stuffed we are skipping supper (toast is on offer to anyone with a second stomach or hollow legs).  DS1 rolled off to catch his coach 'home', he is down there for a month then back here for summer.  He seems much more inclined to get a job now. He is getting £3k of his loan for less than 30 days. How is that supposed to teach them to budget?
I have brought lots of things back from s/g house - did get a bit upset as I was sitting waiting to be able to leave for the boat, as  I realised it was my grandfather's house.  I felt more upset that I was selling his house, than when I thought I was selling s/g's house. But he has been dead over 30 years.  Weird innit?
Yesterday was the first anniversary of my friend's death (a year younger than me) from  suspected C0vid.  That gave me a wobble too.
Still, I have Waterf0rd crystal glassware to dispose of, who even knew there is a roaring second hand trade in hearing aids on t'Bay?   some coral bits of jewellery, bits of B-Leek, Coalport dancing ladies, etc, etc, etc.
Suddenly the birds really seem to be going for it.  Singing their little faces off.
