I know someone that is a single mother to 6 children (she too had domestic abuse that's why she had to leave)

She privately rents and her children are some of the most polite, well behaved kids I've ever met

Wishing you lots of luck Kim

No, I'm not as I don't claim unemployment benefits and I get working tax credit.

The eldest ones dad won't even pay csa at the moment so I doubt he will help me move and babies dad is back with his wife and playing happy families denying he's the father of my baby so no- I do t think I will be getting any help from either of them.
None of my kids are working as all aged 11 or under
As we are a superior species to say dogs I really don't get a man who made 7 babies and doesn't provide for them. As for the other one, get him on the UK equivalent of Maury Povich for the world to see that there is a 99.99999999% chance he's the father.

Terrible analogy, SnooksNJ, in the wild, dogs make excellent fathers. Animals which live in packs, with their offspring, tend to be good parents.

Even if the OP does not secure a private rental, it is quite realistic that the council may find her a private rental after being put in a B&B etc.

Being housed by the local authority after eviction does not mean a council house for life. It could mean the offer of a private let half way up the country.
Well life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.

Because there is no choice, try reading. How many properties do you think most councils have sitting empty just waiting for someone to move into? Very few indeed and even fewer suitable for such a large family as Kim's. As I said, get a clue... or go on displaying your ignorance, I could care less.

the OP just needs 1 property, if there is one arravivble in her area then the point is she can choose to either take it or not p, if she qualifies for it, clearly she can't is not offered 1.

You are confusing two issues here, the general lack of social housing and the option for those that do qualify and offered a property to take it or not.

Why a bad analogy, snooksNJ is saying even tho we are superior to dogs they look after their young better than the OP's kids father, and you have just helped make that point.

Baby boy is here and well, I am totally in love- going home ASAP to meet his siblings. X with regards to the house, I'm viewing 2 properties this coming week and will be viewing houses every day if I can until I can fine someone to consider us.
