Still thinking about the bungalow. Since I first saw it online I have had a vision of what I could do with the place and I have been coming up with ideas since Thursday. It is wierd because I wasn't bowled over by it but know it would be quite good once it is to my taste (I am not in a rush to do it all straight away). I have to remember that I hated my first house downstairs and really thought it wasn't for me, then I went upstairs and fell in love with the place. I have read up on what to look at during a 2nd viewing, when I go back I will take the home report with me and look at the couple of things that have been flagged up on there. I also want to do my own measurements in the bathroom so I can sketch out what can be done as I want to put a bath in and get rid of the huge vanity units. See this is crazy...I keep typing/thinking/talking about what I will do when I get there.
I can't get ahead of myself as I can't put in an offer until we have one on our house but I am looking into things so I can work out what my offer would be if it is still on the market when we have a buyer.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

The last weekend of 3 in a row that I am working, I am looking forward to a 4 day long weekend at the end of this week. It is my birthday this week so planning a whistlestop trip to my mum's but other than that I haven't decided what I will be doing yet.
We have another viewing on our house today and the estate agent yesterday mentioned someone else wanting to look, these viewings are great and hopefully they will result in some offers.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

Good Luck with the viewing(s).
Hard when you dream of a property and the unknown about whether you will be able to offer on it.
Sometimes everything falls into place quickly, very quickly and then you are in the middle of a fast pace, of selling, buying and moving.
Took me 6 days  from viewing (which was 10 mins at most) to buying (auction). In that time, 3 different survey's had to be completed and nothing could be done at the weekend  so 4 days in all.

Yesterday's viewers had an offer on their house 4 days after it went on the market.
I don't think I need to worry too much, the house I like has been on the market since August, it was reduced on 24 January but still doesn't have an offer on it. I asked what was putting buyers off and was told the price and the main road which is just behind. It can't really be heard inside and in all honesty I don't sit outside all that much, though in the summer the trees with have all their foliage and so muffle the sound a little.
I am currently concentrating in the negatives of the property, mostly the fact there is only one cupboard away from the kitchen and bedrooms so when it comes to storage I'm trying to see if it will be an issue. Ironically the road doesn't seem to be bothering me. Maybe I should put a link on here for you guys to look at.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

That you keep thinking of what you would do with the bungalow when .... suggests that might be the "one"
I remember knowing exactly what I would do with all the houses I've had. (And one or two I didnt I admit ...)Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -

Time will tell. There are still things I need to check in the house, so will sort them out on the 2nd viewing.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

The prospect of a move with work is on the cards again. I have been asked how I feel about a move back down to Portsmouth to cover a recruiting role. It is a job I have always wanted to do and might be a good thing given my personal situation now. I had only come to work back here initially to try and save my marriage although I am really enjoying it. If it happens it hopefully won't be before Christmas, if all goes to plan we will have sold our house by then and I will have my own. I still think the best idea is to buy where I am looking as I won't be down there forever and will come back up when I can. It will take me further away from my support network but I do have good friends down there. My boss is putting my name forward today so I may get some feedback on Tuesday when I am back in work.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

That's exciting, for a job you have always wanted to do, so a great opportunity.
Well, if things fall into place, then just take it, that it's meant to be. Sounds great from here.
And, would love a look at your link, as I look at properties 4-5 times a week on internet, just incase :oas still trying to sell one.Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -
