I mucked up on day one. I might have changed all my spreadsheets with the new amounts I am paying but I forgot to change the standing orders! No worries, it is all sorted now and I have a reminder set to change them tomorrow.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1931.07/£2700

I wonder if you ever got a bird identification app? I like Merlin, it listens to the calls and gives you the most likely birds. If you click on the bird name it gives a couple of pictures and a bit info about the bird so you can decide if its probably what you are hearing. Its been useful for identification of the swifts and swallows that buzz about here and are otherwise just all lumped together as swifts/swallow. At least now we know we have several varieties. Plus a few things we rarely see but can hear twittering over in other gardens and fields.22: 3🏅 4⭐ 23: 5🏅 6 ⭐ 24 1🏅 2⭐ 25 🏅 🥈⭐ Never save something for a special occasion. Great to see how your march to MF is going - very inspiring and congrats on the promotionDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.
