Project Mortgage Neutral Begins

Nearly an hour later, assignment complete or at least the boxes have been filled in and it has been submitted and as expected the sun has gone in and there are more snow flurries. As soon as there is a chink of blue I will head out, until then I have some reading to do for my next webinar on Friday.

@savingholmes I did have fun
on the way back I met my next door neighbour and her toddler outside so I was playing pass the snowball with her daughter and then she helped me clear some of the snow off my car! We didn't finish so I am heading outside today to clear the car and drive as it looks like it might have stopped snowing now. I know if I don't do it soon it will be too frozen and be even more hard work.
I have a meeting this afternoon and a couple of emails/calls but nothing else so a bit of snow clearing, a walk and a bit of psychology reading I think.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

It is so much more difficult working from home. We have a lot of small projects on the go to keep people busy but trying to keep tabs on them is really difficult, if we were at work a short in person chat would solve everything. I have already had one conversation this morning that hasn't resolved anything, a group message to try and understand some things and potentially another meeting this afternoon to try and iron everything out as there seems to be an awful lot of confusion. I would really like to go back to work for a break and also because it is easier.Brilliant blue skies so I am heading out for my walk as soon as I can!MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

I have been thinking about things I would like to do to try and get back on the positivity wagon. Unfortunately it looks like I probably won't be going anywhere for a picnic on Sunday so I will rethink that a little, I still want to write a letter for myself though. Today I could do with coming things for the weekend so I don't suffer like I did last weekend.I don't always do things for lent but this year I would like to do acts of positivity so I am going to do one fun thing each day and also write a note each day that I can reflect on at the end. The notes might be the fun thing I did but what all those fun things might be...I haven't got a clue yet, one thing I do know is I would like them to be things on my own. If others are with me then great but I don't often associate fun with solo events so I am hoping during this time I can change this mindset. If anyone has any suggestions of fun I would be very grateful.I am sure there was another thing I thought while I was having breakfast but I don't remember what it was.In money news, my credit card payment went out this morning and all was cleared by last month's money so the balance in my account makes a lot more sense now.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

Sorry the snow is interfering with your plans.
I like the idea of one fun thing a day.

That £999 mortgage product fee refund I had 5-6 months ago, this morning I still had £191 left. I have probably been far too disciplined with it but today I decided to treat myself to some new pyjamas...one of the things I had planned to treat myself to ages ago. I wonder how long it will take to spend the rest of it!

It is snowing again!!! Luckily not as thick as at the beginning of the week but not needed on a road where we are still struggling to move our cars.I have a plan for tomorrow or at least a very loose one
it is going to be a day of self love. Rather than write my letter for tomorrow I am going to take time out to write it and maybe it will prove to be a turning point and a good one to reflect back on. I intend to bake some scones in the morning and if the weather is kind I am going to take one out with a flask of tea, no idea where I am going to walk but it is a good substitute for a picnic while our pavements are still so treacherous. As has become apparent I don't really do anything for myself so tomorrow might not be the easiest but I need to learn and I will be ending the day with one of my favourite dishes, mussels.
