@Suffolk_lass I wanted to do a pay it forward thing yesterday but I don't know anywhere locally that does it out of the places that are serving takeaway during lockdown.I received an easter egg last year, it was a lovely gesture but I was a little wary as it was so early in the first lockdown. I will find a way of doing it that hopefully will help keep my anonymity as I think that is part of the fun.I would love the bread recipe if you don't mind. I am quite good at following recipes but the proving etc of bread has put me off, I have the sachets of yeast so I think it is time to try.I have some specific dates for some of the tasks on my list but the rest are quite fluid.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

I love the random act of kindness and pay it forward ethos. We have a local deli that’s turned into more of a greengrocers in the lockdown who deliver food to people shielding/vulnerable to prevent them having to go out. They have a pay it forward account so you can donate in and they will share it out for anyone who needs it- such a nice idea
If you have a local shop that is open and you know the owners it may be worth asking- I know for girlfriends parents shop a few locals put things on the tab (and clear it regularly) but in the lockdowns when they’ve been open they’ve been letting people (who they know need it) just have bits and bobs to show support like bread and milk. Worth an ask maybe?First home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).
New forever home- Sep’21 £309,449 @ 2.05%. Plan to clear it before 30 years!!!!!!3 -
Try this link @ajmoney - Having got the hang of this, I have tried enriching (adding an egg), substituting and adding things like wheatgerm (I recommend this) or seeds (depends which as some catch), sprinkling semolina on top for a more crunchy crust and using sourdough as part - I also use the dried yeast but the sourdough starter stops it going mouldy if you don't eat it quickly enough. Oh and I have tried with a without added steam - a sprinkle of dried semolina after slashing the top does the same thing.Great fun experimenting once you have a recipe that is reliable.Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

My meeting was really quick which was quite good. I did about 40 minutes of psychology work this morning and will do some more this afternoon. I really fancy going into the garden and doing a bit of cutting back but I don't want to run myself down too much, such a dilemma. I know what I want to tackle next out there so maybe I can spend the time looking at what I will hopefully be doing in a day or two.

I urge you to start making things on your list - so rewarding, that personal creativity. I was really surprised how happy it made me, using a Youtube clip to re-teach myself to crochet after (maybe 50) years - probably with my great grandma was the last time as a small child. Just simple things, I made poppy things as I didn't want the plastic - just the donation to RBL - simple brooch, much admired tooSave £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

It is a horrible day today so I guess I will be picking an indoor "fun" thing to do, I am going to be brave and pick learn about me/get to know me. It maybe isn't the best option leading into the weekend when I really am not a fan of them but who knows, it might help.I have been thinking, while it will cost me more money I feel a life coach may be better placed to help me move forward than a counsellor but I admit when I look online I haven't got a clue where to start when it comes to choosing one. I suspect that is part of this perfectionist "I need to pick the right one" tendency but I guess so long as it is someone I feel comfortable with that is all that matters.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

Yesterday was a really good day for me. I started the day "learning about me", I used a set of questions I found online and there definitely some thought provoking ones there. I had a few busy work things and then went out for a walk. I had hoped to try my first proper meal last night but didn't feel up to it so will do that today instead. After a much smaller dinner I had a quick catch up with the girls online before doing my final webinar. We did some role play scenarios last night, mine was anxiety so needless to say I wasn't acting
and each of us got to practice our talking and referral skills. I used all my experiences of the last year and said exactly what I had experienced. I had been quite nervous about this going into the weekend thinking it might open things up too much but I think the fact I shared these things with some people I know in our club and felt safe to do it had really helped actually get things out of my system. I felt happy when we finished the webinar (it helped to find out afterwards that it was the practical assessment and we had all passed) and had a really restful night.
I don't know what I am going to do today yet or which "fun task" I am going to do.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200
