Had the final assessment of my mental health first aid course this afternoon and I have passed :D
I am still waiting to hear back on the work I submitted for my coaching and mentoring course but I am now back to only studying for one course, psychology, which is a bit of a relief!
I have done a bit of psychology reading today, been for a walk and watched a film for my "fun thing", the film I picked was a lot shorter than I expected.

Meal planning time again ready for shopping in the morning.  Having not eaten all that much this week and I have no idea what to get, my appetite seems to be coming back although I still haven't had a decent sized evening meal yet.  I am so uninspired.

For today's task I am going to learn something through online tuition, I have signed up to a winter fruit tree pruning webinar.  This is one of the first jobs I need to do in the garden so this is perfect timing.

I was out pruning apple trees and cherry yesterday - got my friend (gardener) coming to do the three enormous apple trees later. Oh and don't be tempted to touch stone fruit trees until they have fruited  :/ - unlike me a few years ago

@Suffolk_lass I have 2 apple and a cherry to do. I don't actually know what the other tree is but nearly 2 years on from me moving in it looks a lot healthier, they all do.
Just picked up some plants and bulbs in the supermarket while I was getting my shopping so I will put those in over the next few days.

I watched the webinar yesterday, informative although the camera filming frustratingly didn't always let you see what they were doing.  I learned that I can't prune my cherry tree until mid-May at the earliest so have left that although that would mean I prune between in blossoming and fruiting which doesn't seem right...I might still do it yet.  I pruned one of my apple trees and my undisclosed tree.  I have probably been a little cautious but that is an improvement on my normal destructive style of gardening.  I have one apple tree left to do but I need someone to hold the step ladders for that so for now it will need to wait.  I also cut back 2 shrubs and my raspberry canes.  I tried to follow what they said about summer fruiting canes which I think mine are but the stems didn't resemble what they were saying and I remembered the gardener cutting them right back last year so followed his lead.  I also did a quick tidy up, I was outside for about 50 minutes in the end, it was really mild here yesterday so it was lovely.  I bought some lupin bulbs and some bedding plants yesterday so I need to find time to get those in the ground/tubs today or tomorrow as I guess it is still to cold for them to sit on the patio for too long.
I have a little bit of work to do this morning and then at lunchtime I have an afternoon tea to pick up which is today's fun task, it is my birthday today so a lovely treat.

So far I have done a little bit of work to catch up with things I wasn't in the frame of mind to do last week.  I was sure there was more but I don't remember what.  I have just spent 50 minutes in the garden planting up everything I bought yesterday, I am not sure the weather has ever been this warm for my birthday.  I really enjoyed myself, I have experimented with different ways of planting the same species of bulbs and while some may end up not being productive I am sure I can't do too much damage.
