    Hi NLA,

Hope I didn't bore you too much :rotfl:

Welcome aboard, I think there's some biscuits hanging about somewhere.

I feel a lot better than I did thank you x
  • Hi, hope everyone is okay and wasn't too blown about yesterday??

What a busy week it's been, being in work and not feeling 100% is a struggle but I've made it to Firday :)

DH's payday today and CC payments have been made. The BC will go up as the gas/electric and kids new uniforms need to go on it but not fussing too much as things are going in the right direction.

The buyers Mrs and her parents are coming over tomorrow afternoon to see the house, as the EA's are booked full, we are going to be in to show them around.

The mortgage survey went ok and they have their mortgage in principal, they have a structural survey booked for the 8th March, hopefully it won't throw up anything too nasty.

Our sellers have sent a letter saying that they're leaving all sorts of big appliances, if we're interested in them, as their sellers are leaving them in the house that they're buying.

2 days until I get paid and 5 week month. Got to try harder this month!

    Pmo2
    xx

Giving according to the letter they sent, some are less than 5 years old.

  • Great news on the appliances, that will save a chunk of money. I am not looking forward to the five week month coming up - this month has felt so easy, being so short!
Trying to figure out a whole new life. Trying to figure out a whole new budget.
Divorcing, unclear on final debt total right now, but focusing on building a financial buffer zone.
  • Glad you're feeling better and good news on the appliances at the new house. Sounds like everything is going well this time.

You have reminded me to get my hair sorted, I just scrape it back into a pony tail and that's pretty much it, very boring. Maybe for my birthday in April I'll actually have a hair cut!

    Hope you're having good weekend, H x
  • Morning,

Busy day yesterday, food shopping in the morning, visit in the afternoon and out for a curry in the evening.

The female half of buyers :), her mum and his parents turned up yesterday to have a look around, they're so lovely.....turns out both are currently living with their parents and have never lived together. They've been together for a couple of years and spent the last year looking for a house, when ours came back on the market.

As we have the opportunity of having the appliances left for us, we are going to leave a few bits for the buyers, it may help them in the short term. We also thought that we will get a cheap bottle of bubbly, a bunch of flowers and a New House card for them and will leave them in the kitchen when we move out.

    Lots to do today:

    Dinner to sort
Tesco for lunch bits for the kids and cabbage for dinner
    Get organised for next week
    Ensure DD does her homework

My train ticket runs out at the end of the week, I won't need to buy a monthly one as we are moving at the end of the month.

DD this month will be walking to school and back the odd day, DH got her a key cut yesterday, so she can get used to it before we move.

Although we will be saving some money this month, I will still be trying my hardest to keep on top of things.
