  • At the moment we pay anything up to £350 per month between both cards.

The plan is now that we pay £200 split between both cards. So we will save up to £150 per month. That way we're not skinting ourselves.

Once the BC has gone then I can up the MBNA payment to £200 - £250.

In order to pay off the MBNA within the 3 year time scale we would need to pay £250 per month before the 0% deal runs out.
  • What does it do to your DFD?
    Debt Jan 2017 = £42k
    May 2022 = £15k
  • It delays it by a couple of months.

    Morning,

Went to bed early last night as I felt sick, had a crap nights sleep and woke up feeling crap. Don't have time to be ill.

With regard to the MBNA card, the company DH works for he earns commission if the project he's on makes money. He also gets commission if they hit their target set for the year. So there will be the odd time that we can pay a small lump sum off it or even just clear the one that's in the background.

Next week, I need to get back some semblance of control or March will be a disaster. March we will move house, kids change schools and we've a whole new routine to get used to.

    Today's plan looks like this:

    > Finish washing - Last load in now
    > Wash up - DONE
    > Ironing - DONE
    > Make dinner for today and tomorrow - DONE
    > Dye my hair
    > DS needs to go barbers to get his hair cut - DONE

Need to plan in reading my book, I didn't do it yesterday, so should do today.

Have a good day and I'll be back later to update.

I'd say definitely make the lower payments then, if it makes such a small difference in the overall picture.

You are allowed to deviate from the plan whilst you are moving house, it's a stressful time. Just get back on track when your new routine is established.

    Have a lovely Sunday:)

Dinner was crap, but they enjoyed it. I hate chicken casserole but it makes a change for the kids.

Still feeling rough. I think it's a virus, I feel nauseous, have a headache and feel tired.

My hair looks a bit less witchy and less old lady like now.

Going to have a shower and early bed I think.
