  • Apart from some teenage angst (normal) it sounds like things are really taking a good turn pmo2 and you deserve that.
    Debt Jan 2017 = £42k

  • Quick update, the buyers mortgage survey was carried out today and by all accounts....the house passed :) got to wait a week or so for confirmation but our estate agent knows the bloke that did the survey and it was a 'thumbs up' from him.

    Getting there slowly!
  • Good things come in threes right?

    Well today:
We have also received the contracts for the new house
I got a letter from Southern Rail telling me I can reclaim £227 due to crap service, so that's next months railcard paid for.

  • Morning,

Hope everyone is ok today? Lovely to see some new members on the board.

Compensation from Southern Rail has been claimed, they'll process within 20 working days.

DH has taken the contracts to work to go through them and get them witnessed.

I've gone through the new school uniform websites and know how much I need for the kids, it's doable and the compensation will go towards them.

Everything else is plodding along, I'm itching to move so I can restart my targets for the year, as I'll have rebudgetted. Not that I'm impatient or anything :rotfl:

  • Morning,

Gas and electric bills came through last night, haven't dared to look yet as I know it'll be horrendous. May be later....

Busy two days for the kids, DD is at a friends today for a sleepover and then girly shopping (KFC & Costa) with her friends tomorrow. DS is at his friends today for dinner and then cadets, and tomorrow is at the local skatepark as there's some big event happening, then back to his friends for a birthday sleepover....they've got better social lives then us!

Still waiting to hear from the Met, hoping it'll arrive today :o

Contracts for the new house are now signed and witnessed, DH is sending them off today.

RMT union is due to strike again next week
