I'm so glad its all working out for you. I've heard the driving courses are really interesting. :)
    Debt Jan 2017 = £42k
    May 2022 = £15k
  • Came home tonight to another letter from the Met, different division, regarding the due care bit.

They're considering all the evidence before they decide what will happen. It'll be one of three things:
    No prosecution.
Prosecution resulting in a fine and points
I get offered a drivers course

Looks like a standard letter that gets sent out but now I've heard from them I'm not as stressed, as I know they're dealing with me.

We have also got another viewing on Saturday, so we are up to four now. Two are potential buyers, the others not sure.

I will restart my month from Monday, I've been a bit lax this week with everything going on, but there's still time.

    Hope everyone is ok?

Thank you. I'll be there for three and a half hours, so it's pretty intense.

  • So according to the letter from the Met, nothing drastic will happen? If I'm understanding it correctly, the worse case scenario will be points and a fine? It must be such a relief for you!

Best of luck with the viewings, your last offer was made so quickly - I wouldn't be surprised at all to find you get another one this weekend. Hopefully from the cash buyer! Keep us updated xx
  • Evening,

I'm exhausted! Major tidy up before we left the house, took DD to Guildford for her BFF birthday party, then to the EAs as we couldn't go back home as we were too early.

So here's were we stand with the viewings today:
    1. Loved it and made an offer, too low but not a major loss
    2. Potential offer
    3. Potential offer
    4. Unreadable but doubtful offer in our minds

EAs gathering feedback from the other three before going back to number 1. Number 1 also wants to come back next week with dad and grandad, so they're serious :D

House move is back on albeit delayed by a few weeks. I'm not overly spiritual but I'm hoping someone up there is sending positive vibes our way.

  • New week, new start.

Roast beef for dinner, so I've a lunch for tomorrow :) for the first time in ages, I really enjoyed dinner.

February isn't going to be easy, but it'll be easier.

We find out tomorrow if we've properly sold the house (again!).

Back to my weekly allowance of £10, going to see how far I can stretch it this time.

Not much else has happened this end, hope everyone has had a stress free weekend.

Yum beef! Haven't had that in a while. We had a big fat chicken.
