  • Update: our buyer is messing about and we've now put the house back on the market. We may lose our house :( kids will be delayed starting new schools :(
Had a text argument with DH this morning (on train) felt !!!! all day.
I'm stressed about everything at the moment!

Thank you for all your comments, I really appreciate it. I'm not an attention seeker (honestly) and usually keep private issues off my diary but I'm at a loss and can't vent anywhere else.

He's been messing about and holding off for the past week or so. He's getting divorced and the money from their house sale was/is deposit for ours.

How sickening. So sorry. It sounds rubbish when you are feeling fed up but there will be other buyers. You will sell your house and you will move on and this whole situation will be forgotten about. It's hard when you are going through it though.

Sorry the hear that pmo2. Hope your agent can get you a quick sale again, you seemed to have a lot of interest. Have you joined the "waiting to exchange" thread? It's great for stuff like this, gives a space to vent with others going through the house selling process

  • Oh I'm so sorry things are so pants for you at the minute, it might not help much but when you go to court you know that it was a simple accident nothing more. I'm sure the court staff will be lovely, you are not a criminal!

Bad news on the buyer, I really think they should be more upfront or some compensation put in place so you can't be messed around.

Keep soldiering on, all this will pass and you'll be in a lovely new house soon enough wherever that will be it's your family and you that need to help get through this little blip.

  • I hope things are better and your buyer has pulled his finger out. Keep us updated when you can xx
  • Thank you ladies, I hate stress! I don't handle it very well (not that you can tell! Lol)

Lcc & BoP - thanks for the reassurances, it helps.
Bob - I'm sure things will work out., just annoying that's all.
Monz - thanks lovely, I'll bear you in mind.
Huggle & Misty - thank you both.

Much better day today, the mortgage offer has been approved on the new house :) and we have a viewing on Friday, the lady is a cash buyer who wants to spend a bit but not too much, fingers crossed she'll put an offer in. No sign of our buyer doing anything, so he's written out of the equation now.

Oh and it was DH's birthday today, bought DH a tshirt off an American site on FB ended up with two, emailed to ask about returns and they said I can keep the other one, not been charged for it either :T

MBNA has been paid, so that's going down again...result!

Right, bed time. Thanks again lovelies xx
