Back in debt but not out

Just a vent as I've been in tears tonight.
Seems ds's gf has passed on 'our' numbers and we've been spammed. Mega long story but I think dd is worried now too. Ds's gf tonight has proved from various conversations that she's manipulative & that she turns conversations round so ds is at fault.
Today we had a good day, went back to the old town, dropped kids off so they could have time with their friends & I could do some drop offs.
Apart from the good bits, I wish I'd stayed in bed.0 -
Wow how horrible hon. She sounds a bit troubled.." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

I don't really understand what happened but I am sending positive thoughts your way. I hope your son is able to leave the gf behind, she sounds like a nightmare xx0

Long story but ds's gf wheedled in between him & previous gf & split them up, since then she's been a nightmare. Don't get me wrong she's always been polite & nice but that's as far as it went.
Last night it all kicked off. She was twisting things so she wasn't at fault but ds was. Tonight it ended. Today Ds told her it was over and her true colours came out then, nothing but abuse, threatened to pass my mobile number on to everyone.
I really feel for ds as he's been sucked into her way of thinking and everything is our fault, hope that he'll settle down a bit.
Sorry0 -
Sounds stressful. Really hope things settle down in the coming week." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Hi! I've read this from start to finish over the weekend, and I just wanted to say congrats on all the positive changes you've made in the last 6/7 months. You might not see it as much from day to day but it looks like you've made some huge steps since this DFD began
Sorry to hear about your son's gf, she sounds like a bit of a nightmare. Hopefully now you're in your new place he can move on! Happy new house, looking forward to your next update, and when I can find the right thing to click I'll be subscribing!0 -

What a nightmare. I suppose it's one of life's lessons for him, he'll probably be much more careful in the future. I hope she no longer bothers you or your family.
Can't she get in trouble for passing on mobile numbers - isn't a form of harassment? If people do bother you I wouldn't think twice about getting the police involved.0 -
Thanks everyone, DS seems a bit better this morning after the weekends shenanigans, I'm going to reiterate to him tonight that we're not mad at him. Ex-GF seems to have gone quiet. I don't mind if he wants to remain friends but that's as far as we'll allow.
My diary went off topic again and I'm sorry but really needed to vent over the weekend, hopefully my mobile bill won't be massive as a result.
So time to get back on track.
DH is at home today, although he had last week holiday, the broadband is due to be installed today and he wants to be there if anything happens.
Pay day for both of us this Friday.
Water account is now up and running, hopefully the first payment won't be too much, they base it on the previous occupiers and they were a couple with three small boys, so we'll see.
Council have been notified that we've moved in, just waiting to hear from them regarding setting up the DD for it, it takes 10 working days to process it, at the most we'll be a month in arrears.
All change at work, I'm being moved out to site, not too happy about it as that wasn't the deal but as it now costs more and takes longer to get to work, I think I may be in contact with the agencies again and get some where nearer home.
Need to think of a plan for the rest of the year, I know I keep repeating the same thing but I'm making sure I don't forget and that it remains at the top of the agenda moving forwards. I think that this weekend will be the time to go through the budget.
Nothing major in May coming up, we have a birthday and our anniversary but we also have DS's birthday coming up at the end of June, just before payday so need to factor that in May some how.0 -
Good luck with the big budget session this weekend" Your vibe attracts your tribe":D
