Had a good nights sleep last night which has helped, I'm sure today will be fine, I've got to do it anyway so no point stressing about it.

Today was a good day, the course was good. I think I got a lot out of it. Now I need to move on and get the rest of 2017 on track

Water company sent their 'set up' bill today and previous owner popped round today with the smart meter that they thought would work in the new house but won't along with a bunch of keys

DH moved boxes to the dump so now we've room. Yay!!

Afternoon

Just a quick post as I'm at work.

Thanks for all your wishes

The house is looking more reasonable now, although we still have lots of boxes left to unpack. The house is less chaotic.

DS started his new school today and from what I can gather from DH he's made some new friends already and enjoyed his first day. DD starts tomorrow.

DS starts with his new Cadet Squadron on Wednesday, just need to chase DD's Guides up.

Changed address on DH's car policy and the premium went down by £30 Result!! Will change mine once I find the paperwork.

DH went through the figures today and spoke to the new mortgage people and we've actually made money from the move despite paying for the removals men out of DH's bonus money...we made exactly £378.40 due to the change over on the mortgage and the move.

This time next week the internet should be on and I can post proper updates and sort out my budget properly. I'm itching to get everything moving now.

Still need to sort out water account and pay the start up fee, will dig that out tonight and get it paid tomorrow.

Off to the old area on Saturday, I have the dentist (BOO!) and we have several things to drop off to people that we have no use for now. Still kids are happy, they're going to see their friends one last time.

I have meal planned and cooked over the weekend, and everything should be about sorted food wise this week, I know DH is holiday this week but I'm trying to get in to a routine as I don't get home now til 7pm.

I think that's it update wise so far.
