Gosh, it's all getting very real now! It will be so exciting to be in the new place, but all the good byes will be hard.Trying to figure out a whole new life. Trying to figure out a whole new budget.
Divorcing, unclear on final debt total right now, but focusing on building a financial buffer zone.0 -

Well this time next week, will be moving daythe day before the removals men will have been and packed the majority of our stuff and the house will seem quite empty.
Exciting times and I am looking forward to it.
Checked online banking and I've been paid a day early :j shame most of it will go out but for the moment it looks quite healthy.
Nothing much to report money wise.0 -
Have a great night tonight, you deserve it

Thanks Monz xx
There is one thing bugging me, as you know, on the 13th April I have the driving course for the accident, as part of the course they do a sight test see if you can see 20m. I had my eyes tested about 6 weeks ago and the optician said my eyes were ok for driving adn that I didn't need new glasses, just my old ones adjusting.
Me being the born worrier is now paranoid that I won't pass the sight test. I have asked DH if he will help me and 'test' me.0 -
its meant to be "twocars worth in front." While out walking test yourself

I'm sure it will be fine, as monz says go out and try by yourself. The cars are not far away and it will ease your mind.
I still can't believe how quickly the move has come about. I am really looking forward to hearing about how you like living in the new house / area!0 -
Thanks ladies, still worried but worst case scenario I end up with points and a fine
Today has been a good day, a nice day. DD's shirt has been signed by everyone! Lol even some not in her year. Friends (& clingy GF) came over and spent most of the time upstairs apart from when pizza arrived.
DS's homework app kept pinging this afternoon to tell him he has 8 bits of homework due after Easter lol DD was so happy as her class got 7 SATs practice tests to do and she got nothingI've never seen these two so happy to not to have homework :rotfl::rotfl:
DS's new school have now sorted his timetable out. He starts at 10.15am when they do registration and his tie has a yellow stripe (purchase on the day) told DS not to worry if he's not in the top set any more, things will sort them selves out as he gets settled.
Exciting to think that this time next week, we will be in our new home with boxes still to unpack and still not having a clue where to start.
I'm thinking of my plan to move forwards. As much as I think it will be May before were totally 'in the zone', I need to plan and work so our move isn't a disaster. I think my 2017 Goals need a change to reflect the move IFSWIM? Need to get in the zone again.
I was contemplating another diary but may be not, I'm thinking this one is something to reflect on once we hit Christmas. Then a new diary.
This weekend is our final weekend in this house and we've lots to do.
So far looks like this:
Empty loft
Change our bed
Sort kids bedrooms
Usual washing/ironing....yawn! Boring!
Empty shed
Clean bathroom
Buy cards for mums birthday and thank you for CM
Dump and charity shop runs
Food shop (need only a bit)
Buy present for CM, still stuck on this one
Buy cheap bubbly & card for newbies
Ring my mum, she rang today but I was out
Mini food shop
I think that's it for now, been a busy day so I'm off to bed xx0 -
Busy busy times
Very best of luck with the move, hope it all goes smoothly.

Morning,
Mega busy day yesterday, got lots done. Still got lots on my list to do today & really can't be bothered lol
DH & DS managed to dismantle DD's bed, but its not in the bed shape so that's off to the dump today. DH needs to finish off painting the bottom part of DD's bedroom wall now her bed's gone.
Both kids are planning on seeing friends today.
Two working days to go.
Will update later, need a cuppa and to wake up.0
