  • Hi,

Just a quick post as we've no internet yet and the phone signal is literally none existent.

We have moved (yay! I hear you all say) so no more boring moving house posts lol

The house is lovely, it has a few niggles that can be fixed but nothing as bad as the old house. The house is warm, both DH & I keep waking up at night as we're so warm.

Tv is due next Thursday with the internet due on the 24th April.

All utilities are done. Water is a meter, so need to be careful so we don't get charged huge amounts.

Need to work on a plan for the remainder of 2017. Anyone any ideas to make the rest of this year easier?

  • Hi,

I'm back, well sort of! Can only post when I'm at work as we are waiting on the broadband being installed.

House is lovely and so roomy :)

Haven't done a total up of everything owed yet, it may be the end of May before we have a clear picture, I can then work at getting rid of it.

First day we leave the kids in the new house on their own as we go back to work and what does DS do? Hurts himself badly enough that DH has had to go home and take him to A&E **facepalm** on the upside, everyone in the community took charge and ensured that both him and his sister were ok until DH arrived.

Hope everyone is okay? I will try and catch up with the diaries as best I can.

    xx

I told DS that that wasn't quite the way I intended for the neighbours to know we'd moved in lol

  • Hey,

I have my driving course to attend to tomorrow, keeping everything crossed that it will go ok and I can finally move on. I have to be there for 8.15am and it finishes at 4.30pm.

Gas and electric bills came through for the old house, these will have to go on the BC for the moment.

MBNA is now down to £8150.00 so at least that's heading in the right direction.

Card came through from the Water company with the website details so I can set up an online account. As we are on a water meter now I'm hoping that the minimum payment I can make won't be that high.

On the plus side, DS got a free bus pass for his new school, so no more Zip cards to mess about with and that in itself saves us £65 a month, as that is what they charge over this way for the bus passes.

TV is being installed tomorrow, sanity for the us as the kids will then have something to watch.

Need to unpack more boxes this weekend and do a food shop as well as clean the house (it is filthy!)

Will try and get a plan togather this weekend too so I know where we stand but will see how it goes.
