Good luck with getting finances sorted, mine's an ongoing battle at the moment.

Thanks H x I'm determined that this weekend I will not procrastinate any longer and bite the bullet and just do them.0 -
I'm so glad that you love your new house and are happy!!! That must make everything else so much easier.0

Afternoon,
As the title of this post states 'May is the month of Money' or rather should be named, how to get to the end of the month with money intact.
We have quite a few DD's coming out towards the end of the month, I have transferred that money over into a holding pot so that I can transfer it back when its needed.
It's been a bit better now that the mortgage payment has moved to the 1st of the month rather than 3/4 way through. I managed to change a few other DD's over to the beginning rather than the end.
My Aims for May need to be thought about, been reading quite a few diaries and feel a bit of a failure that I've not even sorted the finances out yet
I PROMISE THAT THIS WEEKEND I WILL SIT DOWN AND GO THROUGH THE FINANCES AND SORT A BUDGET FOR THE MONTH! If I don't shout at meI'm very good at procrastinating.
DH is doing the whole 'I'm worrying that we can't afford this house' scenario, when I know we can, we just need to buckle down, change our old ways and things will work, I need to show him that it can/will work.
In other news, DH should hopefully get a payrise this month, which will help massively.
DS's Ex-GF is proving herself to be a pain and contacting his new school friends on Instagram to get messages to him. DH has stated if it carries on, he'll ring the school and get them to deal with her.
Will give my May Aims a thorough think, I need to get back into the MSE way of thinking, where I am not at the moment.0 -
You have just moved house, that's enough to throw anyone out of whack. Hope the big budget session goes alright.
The ex girlfriend really does need help doesn't she. Did you know her parents? Maybe they don't know what she gets up to." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Thanks Bob, I think you're right. As for the ex-gf, I think she's gone away now (hopefully) and DS has a new love interest at school that he likes, just hope she's not a psycho! :rotfl:0 -
Morning,
I hate Thursdays, I'm always really tired on a Thursday. It's like the rest of the week has caught up with me, I can foresee a Redbull day to give me a boost.
We tried the local 3in1 takeaway place last night....it was horrible, won't be having that again.
Half term coming up, I have 5 days to play with, so I may have a day off with the kids.
Right off to work, will update later.0 -
Ooh the takeaway must have been bad, always disappointing when you haven't had one for a while and then it doesn't live up to the expectations.
I'm agree about Thursdays, both today and Wednesdays are my busiest days of the week as work all day and evening by Friday at 3.20pm when I pick up ds from school I'm ready for bed!
Have a good day at work!

Need to get myself together! So works changing as I've been moved to site....I need this job.
I have decided I need to look for somewhere nearer to home but at the moment need to keep it simmering at the back for the moment.
Seems I have more to think about then I thought!0 -
Nearer to home would be great. Save on petrol and time!" Your vibe attracts your tribe":D
