  • Really well done for sorting the finances and doing a proper budget, it will really help you stay on track. I would be lost without ours!
Trying to figure out a whole new life. Trying to figure out a whole new budget.
Divorcing, unclear on final debt total right now, but focusing on building a financial buffer zone.

    Wise words, totally agree :D
  • Mega not a NSD today :o forgot stepdads birthday was today, SILs too but bought her a card but didn't do anything for him (need facepalm emoji on MSE!) so card and voucher bought and posted today.

    Bought my lunch too.

DS's ex-gf is still causing hassle, doesn't help the DS unblocked her number and messaged her (need roll eyes emoji) caused argument last night. She messaged DH today to try and drop DS in the poo and although we asked DS, we know our boy and hopefully know they're lies she's spewing.

Had a brief chat with DH tonight and I think he's settled that we can afford this house, explained about residual bits from the move etc.

Need to ring the council tomorrow as we've still not got the council tax bill, they said 10 working days and I rang them on the 20th April

Both cars need servicing, they'll have to go on the BC.

Will plan what I can but I think this year will be adjustment and proper planning next year.

That's all for tonight, Horlicks and bed beckon x

    Morning,

Very tired this morning, has a fairly early night last night, I think that was the problem.

Wednesday's are always busy these days. DS has cadets and DD has Guides, hers starts at 6pm tonight as they've the Brownies there too.

Aiming for a LSD today, I didn't make my lunch last night but will do tonight.

Need to make chilli tonight for chilli hotpot for tomorrow's dinner.

I've been trying to up my steps a little, I've gone for a walk at lunchtime. It's nice to just be out of the site cabin for half an hour. Today's supposed to be nice, so I think I'll have a wander around the park near site.

That's all for now, I'll try to update later if I can.

ETA - yesterday I needed some more foundation too, which added to the non-NSD
  • Just a quick though PMo2, but could you get the local PCSO to have a word with DS's ex GF as it seems to be bordering on harrassment now with the passing on of mobile numbers etc.She sounds like a bit of a crazy one.

Hope it's sunny for your lunchtime walk today. I work on an industrial site, so I feel your pain at being stuck in a 'box' all day. There are no nice places to walk here either - we had this conversation in the office yesterday actually. Everything is just grey and concretey.
