I can't believe the first half of 2017 has gone by so quickly.
You have inspired me to look again at my goals, I have a feeling I've not met many of them...:p0 -
Good morning
That's some amazing achievements:beer:
But nearly half the year already :eek:0 -
Thanks Misty and Hidden. It is very scary just how quickly this year is going now.
Still plenty of room for improvement.0 -
Morning
Busy morning so far. Dishwasher emptied, one load in the washing machine and finances done.
Looking at the finances, we'll be ok, we theoretically should have 'some' money over (I hope) but it will only be OD money but still better than nothing :T
Got lots to do today, I'm hoping that the weather stays dry so I can hang the washing out and I need to do a food shop, we have an Aldi in the next town, so I thought I'd have a mooch in there as well as going to Tesco.
ETA: Second load in the washer, first load hung out, kitchen clean and tidy, hob wiped, now sorting out shopping list and menu plan for last full week of the month.0 -
It's raining here boo hoo
I was so surprised at Aldi yesterday! Definitely something I'm going to try and stick too! And the quantity looks just as good if not better than our usual sainsbury x0 -

Hope it dries up for you.
The old Aldi near the old house was manky and horrible so never ventured in there except for once or twice. This one is huge and looks like it's on two floors  hoping for good things. I'll report back once I've had a look0 -
Shopping done, spent way too much but we now have the majority of stuff we hadn't got. I do still need to get some meat bits.
I had a look in Aldi but it was too busy and too crowded for me, so will leave that for the time being.
I've had to use the TD as it keeps raining but it's supposed to be dry this afternoon so I should be able to dry most of it outside.
Working on the meal plan but hit a mental block, so I'll come back to that.0 -

It has and 3/4 of the washing including DD's cuddly is hanging on the line. Just need it to dry now. The last load is in the washer but don't think it'll go out today.0 -
Yawwwnnn! Can't believe it's Sunday already.
Forgot to mention yesterday, the CT bill arrived yesterday.....£2331.63  but the DD has been set up, so it's manageable. Next year I'll ask for it to be spread over 12 months if not already done so.
All the washing dried yesterday, bar a little bit that was damp.
DH has done some of the ironing this morning, just a few bits to do.
There's a classic car show on in one of the local towns today, so we may venture over there for a look.
I need to go to Sainsburys this morning for a few meat bits for the next two weeks, pay day I can get the rest.
I had a big long think about things yesterday and I'm feeling quite positive about things in the short term, just need to get the long term plans sorted. My MSE head is back.
Have a good Sunday peeps :cool:0
