Savvy Shopper! I've been Money Tipped!
    Riddle me this;

I had some money which was kindly given to me at my birthday which firstly, I had still in the card at home and secondly, I hadn’t added it into my YNAB however I did take that money and buy my Herbalife shakes for the month ahead, £40. So was yesterday a NSD or not? I didn’t take it from my wallet, I didn’t take it from my bank and I didn’t have to add it as a transaction on my YNAB.

I’m swaying more towards it was a spend day that way I’ll be more determined to reach the target in future days.

    Good luck today Turtles.

Totally a NSD. Birthday money is a free spend.

I'm very sorry to hear your news Apple Muncher. I'm afraid I succumbed to wine and sweets last night. I'm having to work till 7pm at the moment and I'm finding it quite difficult. I am very much a morning person. I got the train both ways to work yesterday, but I will cycle both ways today. I have been quite good about time spent on the internet. I have been aiming to have two 15 minute sessions before work in the morning and a half hour session in the evening when I get home. I haven't had any no spend days yet. I will have to work harder at this one.

So sorry to hear of your loss apple, thinking of you and your family.

Was aiming for a NSD yesterday, however, OH needed bread and I also bought chocolate and vit C tablets. Planning to do a proper shop today so still on 1 NSD.

Went to the library yesterday and got some books so spent the evening reading. Have a day off work so me and OH are planning to move the furniture from the old flat and do more cleaning.

Yesterday was my first spend day. After work, I bought 3 tins of cheap toms for £1 and found tins of pineapple for 17p each (BB 6/7/18) in the clearance section of Tesco (so I bought 6 for my stockpile). I paid my partner back for the movie, paid my half (£5) towards our monthly (budgeted for) takeaway -Aubergine and veg in black bean with boiled rice (naught but nice). I put half of it in to a Chinese tub and put it in the freezer for later in the month. We watched 1 hour of tv with food then he did the pots and read while I had a much needed soak in the bath with a face mask, followed by a really early night (asleep by 9 and I'm an insomniac).

Today I have a (planned) meet up at 12 in a town just outside of my city, however my lift cancelled on me so I'll have to catch the bus (4+ one way). :( I will have to take the money out of my M10AD cash (currently sitting in a holding jar ready add to my SPC at the end of the month).

    Still no alcohol. :)

Today has been spendy but just from my 6 week holiday budget and grocery budget. Took the kids to a trampoline park but only DS was taking part, me and DD sat in the cafe with a drink. Called into town to go to the bank and Tesco. Washing line dried - yay. Full grocery shop tonight - boo.

Hugs to you and your mum apple, will be thinking of you.

Too tired for any screen time yesterday so no check in. Yesterday and today were SFDs.

Crafts was fine, not thrilling but not demanding and I was very helpful - one of the participants is wheelchair bound with limited use of her hands and one is blind. My limited drawing skills were admired - I drew and cut out a little bird, some butterflies and an owl, on request and then the blind girl said she wanted a little teddy (we were decorating windchimes with flat plywood bases).

The girl running the session went pale. I said "a teddy is sort of an oval with little roundy ears..." so was given that job as well. Drew tiny ted in felt tip, filled outline with glue then scattered glitter across it. Some of the chimes had been removed whilst things were stuck on (must remember to mark position of holes next time) so more fun and had to take needles to finish off today.

Came home very tired and still with a certain amount of paint and glitter about my person. Local history day today and my partner insisted on taking photos of the finished windchime and navigated round a bit more of the phone and it's functions (one of my goals for this week).

Definitely life in the slow lane for me atm but enjoying the journey.

For yesterday I am grateful for companionship and gentle laughter and sleep (sure my skin is looking better. Today I am grateful for finally getting round to washing my hair, mutual exchange of knowledge and skills and butterflies. My Montbretia is looking good (was given a good trampling when I painted the fence) and my patio buddliea has finally flowered (grown from a tiny plug).
My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.
