  • £30 profit to add from some secret shopping I did. I've been away this week so a bit quiet on the money making front. I do have so items ending on ebay on the weekend though :)

    Good work everyone :) xx

    Afternoon all

Sorry not been here over weekend but I was totally consumed by the Olympics most of the time - even dual watching one set of events on the tv and a different set on my lap-top

Added up the car boot money last night and I made £241.66 (the 1p I found in the jacket I wore on the day, haha). I really am chuffed to bits with it and, more importantly, I had a nice few hours with my Dad :)

Lynnejk, think I'm going to have to change my target again, haha.

I know this won't last because it's my first month doing this challenge, but it's just what we needed right now.

That's brilliant Smiley. I didn't manage to motivate myself last weekend but am planning to do a carboot this Sunday with DD - would be thrilled with half your total!

Wow, that is a mega amount, Smiley87. Well done :T:j_party_:dance:.

If I can be nosy :o what sort of things did you sell in the end? What went well and what didn't? Any tips gratefully received:)

I'm so glad you enjoyed it too:T. I just love car booting:j

I doubt I'll manage one this weekend as rain is threatened both days here:mad:. Although I love car booting I'm definitely a fair weather seller. Having to constantly cover up and protect my wares from the downpours is not for me:o

    Hello :hello:

Some very impressive earning going on-well done everyone, inspirational stuff!

I think DH is taking pity on me, he said I could have his loose change pot if I banked it, I didn't need asking twice-that's £34.12 to add.

I ventured into the garage last night and have added two items to eBay-no bids yet but it doesn't end until next weekend so I'm hoping for a last minute surge in funds! I have another item to list if I can get off my butt and get it done!

    Keep going guys-great work!

I agree about the very impressive earnings, Supadupa. Not by me, alas, this week:o

What a kind DH giving you his loose change. A nice little earner in return for a bit of effort getting it banked:T

I've been tearing my hair out with internet troubles today. Just one major frustration after another which I just can't seem to get sorted:mad:. Am giving up for today, maybe a clear head in the morning might help.

When I was sorting through some carbootable stuff last week I came across several unopened cross-stitch kits and charts which should do well on eBay. Not sure whether to leave listing for a few weeks (any excuse, eh?) until people are more in the mood for indoor activities like crafting.
  • Can finally add something here! Cashed out £11.96 from Quidco.

Waiting on money from Ciao but apart from that it's been a bit dead this month, haven't caught any surveys on PA and Textbroker has gone quiet as well.

Sorry you've been having tinternet probs CBC and hope you soon get it sorted. I live in fear of my lap top doing a 'nose dive'.

I don't do the Bay - but would think that September would be good - people looking for buying early chrissie presents for others or themselves ;)

Hiya BB and great to hear from you. Well done on the Quidco :j I'm sure things will soon pick-up for you - keeping going when it's tough is the hardest part I know. Good luck

I have just £3 to add from a pine tree survey, but that's better than nowt.

Hope you all have a great Friday
