    Hi All,

Haven't posted for a while as after 20 months or so as a lady of leisure I started back at work last week and it takes a little getting used to :rotfl:

Well my earnings for Aug are currently at £1,362.38/£1,000. This is made up as follows:

    £35.18 - Cash4Coins (pre-decimal and foreign coins)
£13.00 - Vouchers used in Sainsbury's and freebies
£30.00 - Telephone Survey payment from Harris Opinions
    £315.82 - Council Tax refund
£2.00 - Debenhams refund for price difference
£0.98 - Holland & Barrett Penny Sale Savings
£965.40 - Specialist Auction Sale funds

Don't know if I will manage much more this month but really pleased with the total so far. I know I will need to work much harder next month as I won't have the 2 biggies to fall back on.

Hope everyone is enjoying the lovely sunshine today.

That money talks I don't deny, I heard it once, it said "Goodbye"

    Hi all,

Made £10 from selling some resources. Also put some bits in to Music Magpie and Ziffit (old phones, DVDs and CDs), sadly the promo code had expired but we should have a good haul. Will include these once the payments have cleared.

Prepping for the car boot on Wednesday. Pricing items because I have my Dad helping me and his memory isn't fab so they'll help him know what price we roughly want for items.

Once the car boot is done, I'm taking all the money from that and the change that we have at home and cashing it in.

All of this extra money is going towards are dream house, so it's perfect motivation for us and my other half is being super supportive and trying his best too by putting in lots of over time. We'll get there!

    Hi all,

Just back from my hols and got lots of catching up to do! If this thread was spend £10 a day then I would have smashed it!

£31.64 to add from bank interest. I need to get into the garage for a rummage as I suspect there are some items for eBay in there. In the meantime I'm waiting (im)patiently for three mystery shop fees and Topcashback payments to come through.

...... 6 hour sitting at £15 p/h. It's rare to get a full days work (hence the hourly fee being so high-plus there can be a lot of physical strain on the body in certain poses so I have to take pilates to keep my strength up).

I'm just so pleased that it went well and I got paid well and that I've been requested again next week. :D
Well done Ev - it sounds good money but no way could I sit still for six hours - always been a fidget-b*m and have problems sitting long enough to watch a two hour film. Mind you I could win a medal for sleeping :rotfl: Good luck with your session this week.
My dissertation is in on Monday so it's taken over my life a bit at the moment. So close to getting my life back!! :D
Hiya - great to see you. Hope you managed to get your dissertation in on time and good luck with that :D Still half the month left to make some cash.

Sorry you're on a ban atm Aesop and hope you soon back as we're all missing you lots.

Hope your poor leg has improved. Maybe you've been doing more than usual and it's having a protest eh.

Maybe you can come to an agreement of a couple of hours a day that is yours to do as you like - not too much to ask surely;)

Another pcone survey for me today. Done 3 in 2 days, a record for me as I haven't had one for weeks
Well done Rosie :T I have never done more than one tree people survey in a week. You must be ticking all the right boxes somewhere.
    .......
Feeling a bit better - though a arm pit to knuckle cast is no fun especially as it feels like I have spiders running up and down inside it.
Gosh that sounds horrible  How long do you have to wear that, you poor lamb? Hope the spiders soon leave you alone.

  • Thanks lynnejk, I handed it in 5 hours ago and have celebrated my freedom by.......cleaning the windows :rotfl:

In other news, I sold a game on Amazon at the start of the month making £18.41 and today HSBC have told me my switching bonus (£200) will be in my account in the next 48 hours so that is my target for the month hit :j

I have lots of bits to catch up on in the next couple of weeks that jave been put off due to the dissertation but I will get back onto the money making once I'm all caught up. I do have some Pinecone points to cash i as well, maybe £15 worth so will add that on once I've withdrawn it.

Woops sorry for the long post, hope everyone else is doing well at the halfway stage!

    Afternoon all

Sorry not been here over weekend but I was totally consumed by the Olympics most of the time - even dual watching one set of events on the tv and a different set on my lap-top :rotfl:

Thanks for all the kind comments CBC - I think you are also very supportive of all the others, on this and on other threads where I 'see' you. I always feel sorry for people that seem to feel a need to post non-supportive or put-down posts everywhere.

I must 'fess up to not doing much money-making over the weekend and so just £2.50 to add from weekly surveys.

Well - that's us half-way through the month and hope you all ready to make loadsa dosh in the second half. Let's see if we can all smash our targets one way or the other. Good luck everyone
