Not much to add at the moment. Another £1 from surveys. That brings me to £75.75/£155. Almost half way there. Dh is due a small bonus soon, so should reach the target, but wish I could do it without the bonus!

    Hi all!

Just got back from the car boot and wanted to say thanks for your help and advice because I really enjoyed it!

I've not added up yet but I just wanted to let you know how grateful I am for the advice given - it was a really enjoyable four hours and I'd definitely do it again.

Hi smiley_77, I'm selling my teaching resources on TES. I've created a lot of schemes and resources for the new English spec so I have put them on. It's good because I get feedback on them and someone might suggest something that I hadn't thought of.

Something else which might be useful to you, if you're a teacher, is publishmenow. You review resources and if you write a decent review you get a free copy of the resource, or a voucher that you can use to purchase other resources. It's not your typical bog standard resource and there's some really good packs on there. Hope this helps!

Thanks Smiley87. I will give selling resources a try. I am going to make some new curriculum stuff so someone might need it.

I've found that ebay isn't the place for teaching books. I've got some resource packs for certain texts (over 100 tasks/extract tasks/language and structure focus) so going to try one of them on ebay and some on gumtree - I'll let you know how I get on with them.

    Hiya folks

Great to see you're all still keeping on - it's all 'better than a slap round the face with a wet kipper' as my gran used to say - and it all adds up eventually.

Just back for a mini update. Sadly money seems to have dried up so I'm thankful for £10 received today from Pinecone:j
Sorry to see you're a bit glum CBC. Your monthly total's not looking that bad and you know how this goes in lumps and bumps. Sending you a few :):):)
    .........
Arm to knuckle cast came off yesterday.. the itchiness wasn't spiders, it was a bad allergic reaction to the adhesive on the dressings. I've now got a kinda sock like thing on my upper arm and a lower arm/wrist cast... and it's so sore but it's all progress.

talking of progress, got my first ever paypal from receipthog today.. so thats £11 paypal and £5 AGC so far this month.
Pleased to hear you're a bit more comfortable SP and glad it wasn't spiders :rotfl:

That was Trojan of you KM - but the money helps the pot eh ;) See you're doing well with your early repayments :T

Well - whoopee for me. Lovely, jubbly £50 from U gov added today :j
    RANT ALERT
I'm getting really fed-up with getting screen-outs all the time everywhere apart from a couple of sites. Why send you stuff when they know you won't qualify - it's not as if they don't have long enough profiles they keep asking you to up-date all the time
    RANT OVER

Hope you all have had a chance to enjoy some sunshine this week and that we all have a super couple of weeks money-making now :D

Added up the car boot money last night and I made £241.66 (the 1p I found in the jacket I wore on the day, haha). I really am chuffed to bits with it and, more importantly, I had a nice few hours with my Dad :)

Lynnejk, think I'm going to have to change my target again, haha.

I know this won't last because it's my first month doing this challenge, but it's just what we needed right now.
