CBC I know you despise of the bay but used well worn shoes sell well to people wit shoe fetishism. ...

I remember a few years ago nat2luv used to successfully sell hers.

:hello: stranger:). I hope you're OK (leg better now). Sorry your work colleague is doing your head in. I've experienced a lot of them in my time:(

I don't despise eBay, Aesop, far from it. I admire people who make good money on there. I just don't get on too well with it these days although I sold on there most weeks in the 'old' days.

As for my wrecked and worn out old shoes, absolutely no-one would want them, not even the most avid shoe fetishist:eek:

  • Hi all, had a quick read through all the messages Ive missed - Wow everyone - well done! :T

treated myself and family to Merlin box set - used vouchers up, love the 'free' feeling (we've wanted it for ages :) )
Got another 6.00 in vouchers from gfk? which was an unexpected bonus.:)
Won ANOTHER Bag of horse feed - which im saving for the winter. (good Job really as one of the boys is deciding to look lean - hes such a wimp :j
Saved 1/3 off our total wine shop from waitrose in vouchers and discount codes and promotions, and also save 20.00 off our tesco shop - which included some food for the local food bank.

Not really earnt much more this week, as decided that we needed to to fell two trees. Cream Crackered doesnt even come close.

Spent 12.00 on a hair cut yesterday - - first 'proper' hair cut in over 20 years and donated the 23" of hair to little princess trust. Very strange having short hair again.

Plan for Sunday - Car Boot - Been collecting lots of bits and pieces to go (and binning the junk/broken stuff), and then got a horsey table top sale on Monday - hopefully will have some nice penny totals to add.
Missing my money saving mojo. :o

What a kind thing to do. Well done:A.

I bit the bullet a few months ago and had my hair cut really short. Like you, it was the first time in years . I was very doubtful as I like something to swish:rotfl: but I absolutely love it really short:j. People tell me it makes me look years younger. I wish I'd done it long ago;). Trouble is, it grows so quickly that I'm already looking a bit shaggy and another hairdresser's appointment is sorely needed. I suspect that having short hair (in a discernible style) is going to be lots more expensive to maintain than having it long and straight when I could just trim it myself.

I made enquiries about donating my hair as it was very, very long but they don't accept colour-treated hair:(

    Hiya folks

That was Trojan of you KM - but the money helps the pot eh ;) See you're doing well with your early repayments :T

    Lx

Felt obliged really. We are really short staffed after a couple of staff were "moved on" and no replacements in site.

Have a week off now though which should give me chance to catch up at the allotment.

Really pleased with early repayments...thanks for noticing.

Got a bit of a dilemma now though. We have just booked a dream trip for end of next May which incorporates Lake Garda, Venice and a Greek island tour. Rather a lot of money but saving up for it is doable....just. I dont really want to stop making over payments to mortgage but as the holiday gets closer I feel I may have to.

£4.75 tips to add to total. :D

I'm glad mine makes me look a bit older! Don't think ill keep getting asked how i did in my A levels any more!
I've kept the hair long enough to tie back in a pony tail - Just - so i should be able to leave it a while before i have to spend money on another cut - And yes- getting mum to cut it was a nice way of saving money. Any Ive got to say - I love that it still swishes!
I was lucky with my hair - I looked at selling it, but the place I wanted to sell it to never replied - it was 100% virgin hair - so prob worth something, but I know its far more valuable to TLP Trust.

Thought I'd give another little update while I am on my laptop, still only on £25 for this month but I am happy so far as although I have earned very little additional income this month I have done very well with spending very little, so it balances out quite nicely. Next month is a 5 week month before the next payday so that will be a nice little challenge for me. :)

I was hoping to do a boot sale in my campervan either tomorrow or sunday but down here in essex the weather is crap so i doubt even if they are on i'd take much profit, I will still head down to them though if it's not raining to see what bargains i can find to throw on ebay ;)
