Hi all!
CBC, the items that sold well for me were toiletries (I used to buy them constantly, so had quite a lot to sell), make up, women's shoes, handbags, perfume (someone bought a half used bottle and I had quite a few with barely any used), pictures/canvas images and army/camouflage clothing. My Dad loves his watches and he took some decent watches, watch straps and a box of watch bits and bobs and nearly sold the lot!
Got some more money to add to the pot. We went and took the change that we had stashed in our many pots at home and we had a total of £191.56!
Today I'm off to pay the deposit on our new home with a huge smile of my face!
I really can't thank everyone on here enough because without your help and advice we would be in a far less favourable place in terms of balancing the costs of the new house, renting and living. We now have a good list of ideas of what we can do to raise funds and we'll definitely continue with this threadThank you from both of us!

What a lovely, uplifting post Smiley84:T.
Thanks for the update about what sold well for you. Sadly, I doubt anyone in their right mind would want any of my shoes (I wear them to destruction) and all my nice handbags have been sold ages ago. I don't buy toiletries and make-up except necessities nowadays (cashflow problems:o) but I do love expensive perfume. That's my guilty pleasure but I stick to one brand and use every last drop before buying more. Sadly, I've no army/camouflage clothing or watch bits stashed away;)
Huge congratulations on pulling out all the stops and working so hard to make so much money. No wonder you're feeling so happy now you are paying your house deposit:dance::dance::dance:. I'm sure all of us on this thread wish you every happiness when you actually move in to it:beer:. Couldn't find a cork-popping champagne smiley.
Yes, please stay with us. People are always posting new moneymaking ideas that they find. It's gone a bit quiet at the moment as people probably have less time/inclination to spend much time online. Aesop (who usually runs the thread) is very busy at the moment with her son on school holiday and her own job. When she has a bit more time I'm sure she'll be back with lots of ideas. If you are into moneymaking apps and social media then Aesop's your girl!0 -

i've just popped out for lunch as the woman at work is doing my head in. she keeps taking things off the printer and leaving them on the side instead if putting the post in the post tray or leaving it on the printer. I swear I hate coming to work.0
