To be honest I just could not be bothered trying to make it work, I'd be off ! He won't change and I don't believe he is mature enough for a loving relationship.
Sorry to be so blunt, perhaps I'm too intolerant or impatient !
Good luck in resolving the issues.

I don't know how old you are but I feel I've got less tolerant as I've got older.
I'm divorced & I live alone.
I would only live with a man again if he did half the cooking & chores.
I have a cleaner - but anything that's left over I mean.
I wouldn't be coming in 7 nights a week cooking for someone.
If I ever live with someone again it will be an equal partnership, in every way. I don't need a man to support me, but I'm not going to clean up & wait on someone.
My friend has the right idea, she was internet dating & said she wants good sex & nothing more. No domestic drudgery.
She's actually found it to!0 -
Never mind the op I'm showing my oh this thread and telling her I am demanding same deal as op's hubby/partner has....I shall report back on my endeavors.

Surprisingly, a lot of gamers are actually getting on a bit! :rotfl:
It's not just youths and teens, - a lot of men in their 40s and 50s spend hours playing computer games when they get in from work.
Yes, that was an uncalled for comment I must say. I am prone to a bit of candy crush myself. I retract it.

Been told that I have a whole new list of jobs to get on with after I finish building a brick barbecue lol. Just trying to lighten the mood of the thread haha. I did show my oh btw and she actually said "Oh have you walked the dog yet tonight ?"....Bloody priorities eh ? Oh and as a footnote good luck op I think you are going to need it.I very much doubt that you will be in a fit state to type once your OH reads your demands.0 -
Did he live on his own before you two moved in together? Surely he knows how to run a house to some extent.
My husband works full time, I work part time from home, but he still does about 50/50 chores. I do all the cooking, he does all the washing up. Make it routine and you don't need to ask or tell, it's just how it is.DFW - Paid so far - 0% CC's - £2 / £2000, £27 / £1200, £32 / £1800,
