Managed to keep my NSD. Tommorow will need food and travel money though.
I'm not too concerned. I think I have done well this month, which runs to Friday for us.. We are not a family who carry food stocks. I've never seen the point as we live 10 minutes walk from Mr T and have the most enormous Mr S you've ever seen 15 mins away. So when I say I've spent £240 for a month to feed 4 of us, plus a cat, that really is from a standing start. When you run the figures I make it £1.95 per person per day to keep my family on 3 square meals plus all toiletries, nappies etc. Although actually I have had help this month in the form of £7 worth of vouchers from Pampers. But you get the impression.
I put it down to being quite good at spotting a bargain, and having a zero waste policy on scraps.

Hi Bob, just checking in to find all going nicely and lots of delicious sounding food - you food budget is brill, still lots more improvement on my part! Although today I have used up bits from the fridge I need to put my thinking cap on for tomorrow.
I hope the sale goes through OK, that would be a nice chunk to pay off.

Hi All
NSD 14 managed in the end! By real scraping the barrel fridge foraging to make soup & borrowing my husband's travel card (he WFH today) so we are now absolutely out of food and I will have to go tommorow but very pleased with that! My will power just seems to be on overdrive this month, no idea why, I definitely ebb and flow with the debt free dynamic
Oh and found 3p so I'm up on the day.
Other than that not much to declare officer.
Night all

Eeek it's the pick up today. I'm still convinced the buyer will pull out, despite me now having the money in my account. Between that and some general irritating behaviour from a particular group I'm dealing with, yesterday, my nerves are stretched this morning.
Need to find an outlet for the anxiety. Still it looks like a lovely bright sunny day out there. I have lots of errands to do so that should perk me up." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D
