You are lucky to have recieved ur refund seems like we who paid by PayPal are the only ones left waiting for a refund. All we get is broken promises and a load of crap but no money.0
-
Thanks, hope you get your refund in the end. Lady at the kennels also works for the Coop bank and she said they were working through refunding their account holders claims.0

I hope everybody gets there refunds. It's a shame were all in this situation .0

Still waiting to hear from Barclays. Only heard of one payout from Barclays Visa Debit.0

I take it you still haven't had it refund?well PayPal are literally taking this pee as they don't even communicate with us. They just gob us off when we call giving us all different stories.,we literally don't no where we stand. I'm on day 23 now0

Barclays always said 4-6 weeks for a resolution. I've had some correspondence saying they will consider pursing a chargeback and I should hear in ten days (by Thursday). I'll chase up next week if no news.0

It's the chasing up I hate. PayPal do not even correspond with us. We're just sitting ducks really just trying to wait patiently. And to be honest my patients is wearing thin0

The money came from my Nationwide account and I reported things to them. They have at least sent me a claim form, so I am hopeful of getting somewhere there.
How can Pay Pal just reject my claim out of hand, without at least looking into it??
Did they specify a reason for the rejection?
Their T&Cs seem very clear that if you are within the 180 day time limit, paid for the services in a single payment (not a deposit and then balance) and have not raised a simultaneous card chargeback through your bank that you should receive a refund under buyer protection. Those were the only reasons I could find for them to reject a LCH claim, well unless the holiday was actually taken prior to July 15 when they went bust of course.
If they have not given you a satisfactory explanation for the rejection, get one in writing. If it is unfair for any reason then go to the Financial Ombudsmen Service who can look into it.0 -
Hi Natalie have you recieved ur refund yet0

Still no refunds and it sounds like that screenshot is a one off. Perhaps the Paypal rep who took that query in the first place put it through a different process by mistake?
In the mean time, anyone waiting for Paypal refunds should absolutely be calling them and pressuring them to refund us. It is not on anymore to hold our money while all the banks are refunding.
The only way Paypal will act is if they receive calls from as many of us as possible. Then they will cave under pressure0
