BREXIT price rises

virtually ALL 'leave' people support the principle that key workers should be allowed into the UK.
if there are people in wales being aggressive to anyone then the matter must be reported to the police
no idea what you do, if no-one wants to live in an isolated backward place, but its not really an issue to do with brexit.
The point is that with the Brexit vote, unwelcoming behaviour to them / their children see https://www.theguardian.com/healthcare-network/2016/jul/06/eu-workers-nhs-faced-racial-abuse-head-home
Saying go the Police does not really deal with the more subtle forms of abuse and rejection.
GP recruitment is difficult everywhere but especially hard in rural areas and EU staff are a key way of meeting the need - will they feel welcome now?0 -

I guess, at the end of the day, it is up to the people of wales to make foreigners feel welcome.0 -
According to BBC news today higher prices are already happening with imported fruit and veg due to devaluation of the £. And a direct result of a leave campaign based on division, hate and bigotry.Don't blame me, I voted Remain.0 -
I'm sure we would all welcome your suggestions.
I get the slight sense that leavers have felt somewhat awkward about the fact that the average racist will have voted the same way. During the campaign this uncomfortable truth was given the blind eye - yes racists are vile but when they go to the polls we do rather hope we can rely on their vote.
I think there are less people condemning this behaviour because we're still labelling ourselves remainers and leavers, and this, and the result of the referendum, might be giving racists the impression they've been given some sort of mandate.
These labels hopefully won't persist for long so racist behaviour will be more soundly condemned. I do have a concern that, in order to flog their tatty wares, the media will be engaging in jingoistic xenophobia as the exit and trade negotiations progress thus further fanning the flames.
The police are probably under resourced to deal with it too.0 -

In the picture you paint I'd class myself as a moderate leaver. I'm certainly not racist or xenophobic, my wife is a non-EU migrant. But I absolutely agree that the racism and xenophobia that was present both before and after the EU vote is vile and needs to be brought to heel.
That said, the views of those people wasn't even a consideration of mine when I cast my vote.0 -

Did you notice how you pointed out racism and xenophobia existed before the result as well as after? That's the sort of subtle playing down that we'll move away from as time passes.0
