I have had a phone call back from Egg. I will definitely be receiving the 17.5% they tell me now, which is a relief

I think perhaps the woman I was speaking to earlier was erring on the side of caution, can't blame her for that, and I'm now happy again.
It might be an idea to give Egg a call to confirm things, but it seems they will honour the 17.5% on these even if Currys have dragged their heels. As long as your receipt/emails say 30th May I think all will be fine, but you may have to query it, I'm not sure.0 -
Not sure . The 5% hasn't actually been refunded yet it is just shown as cash back earned. no mention of the other 12.5% anywhere though0

12.5% comes later, jjames make sure you get it they said the same to me about some cashback a while ago and only after several calls, messages and letters was it finally added to my account.2p off is still 2p off!0

Of course not.
The standard 5% will be paid out in September, and a 12.5% bonus will be paid at the end of July according to thier TCs. For me this is a seperate issue that can be taken up with Egg if it doesn't get paid. My response was to fatboyonadiet's request for failed orders. Just wanted to balance things up a bit as people don't tend to say anything when something actually works. Don't worry though, if the cash doesn't turn up I'll be ranting and raving on here about it.
I said it way way back in this thread, I ditched egg ages ago and avoid the Dixons group whenever possible, so I'm kind of dancing with the devil here as are most of us on this site.0 -
My camcorder arrived ok.
I rang up Currys and asked them how Egg would know that I had gone through the link. She said that this information was passed to Egg as part of the transaction.
I have sent Egg a secure message asking them to confirm NOW that their computer systems were showing that I had gone through the link and that I would be getting the cash back, as if there is a problem I can return the goods now, but come September there will be nothing I can do.
THey have not replied back to the message and I sent it 6 days ago!0 -
