It brings that fiasco a while back from Virgin to mind doesn't it.
They did not honour many of those orders as I remember and they knew about this site :rolleyes:

I just had a call less than 24 to delivery and guess what?!!!!The warehouse is out of stock.Have to say i'm a tad miffed.:mad:

I know it shouldn't be posted here but hey i need to vent my anger:mad:.Less than 24 hours to delivery and i've had a call from tesco wine to say the warehouse is out of stock and therefore delivery has been cancelled.On the other thread about the wine offer loads of people have had the same experience.

Well my order was cancelled also. I was actually looking to buy my weekly shopping online with tesco. Not anymore though, my first online shopping experiance with Tesco has put me off ever using them again.

Oh! A Tesco man has just delivered me 12 bottles of red wine.

He said they hadn't got any of the cheap stuff left and that I was being charged the same amount.

Guess what - the invoice is for £5o+ instead of £12 !!!!

So I have been charged a fortune for wine I didn't order.

I have rung CS to explain who asked if I wanted the wine, I said yes at the price promised. They said the store will be in touch.

Well, I never, the nice lady from CS rang back and said their mistake, start drinking - so what a bargain - £6 bottles for a quid.
