Morning All
Lovely bright sunny day here again.
Didnt post yesterday as had a hetic day so hope everyone's ok. Massive amount of paperwork to do so will probably be in my office all day. If and when I do come out I will finish off the ironing which has seemed particually never ending.
Had to switch menu plan around and have lamb chops new pots and runners tonight. Will be a late dinner as ds has footie training. He went to school ok yesterday so fingers crossed for today.
Thats it for now, have a great day.w0 -
Morning all,
Sorry you keep thinking about food Amie, it's a pain when you start obsessing. Now's the time for fellow Campaign Members to post helpful tips and encouragement.
Ok, I'll go first:
When you find yourself thinking about food , try and imagine yourself in one years time. Do you want to be a slim , happy and contented Amie with her whole life ahead of her feeling she could do anything?
Or do you want to be 4 st heavier than you are now , not going out and livving life because of your weight issues?
It's a easy choice to make. So put those negative thought in the bin where they belong and get right on track. We can all do this , and we'll do it together , you'll see:T
Hope you all have a good day xx
OK, I really hoped that I wouldn't have to post this, but massive hints don't seem to be working. I know that we've been here before with people objecting to what's been put in the daily, but this is, after all, the OLD STYLE daily thread. It's where we can all come and chat, but each post is supposed to have some OS content.
I know that there are a lot of you involved in this campaign, and I really don't want to upset people, but can we please return the OS daily to chatting about our OS day. The OS daily thread really isn't the place to run a single issue campaign such as this.
There are plenty of other weight loss support threads, and I'm sure that you'd all be very welcome there.
Alternatively, a PM to one of the lovely BGs, and they might be able to suggest how you can have an OS wight loss support thread.
Best of luck with your individual plans, and hope to see you all continue posting here.

Shower and get dressed.
Have breakfast - cereal, tea and toast.
Wash up dishes, tidy and hoover.
Leave for work at 8.10am.
Arrive home at 5.15.
I love my work - I just love home MORE !!!Debt free - Mortgage free - Work free ( in that order)

Morning
Late this morning as DH went out early, and usually phones at 7 to make sure I am up, but not today - I have just taken the dog for a walk with my eyes half shut  Really misty here today, I'm just hoping it lifts later as I'm putting the wm on.
Lovely day yesterday, went to see DGD who is just over 4 weeks old, and can't beleive how fast she is growing, still really pleased that she has my DH and DS dimple in her chin :A
Spag bol tonight, I'm trying to use up what I have in the freezer, plus not spend much on shopping so we will have more spending money on holiday. Going to bite the bullet and order my USD travellers cheques today, s**s law says I will buy at the wrong time, and wish I had waited
Have a good day everyone xYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
Morning everyone
Well spent most of the day clearing up 3 weeks worth of emails, doing family history so have lots of mails from the groups to see if anyone is after similar lines, so that was most of it.
Made a hole in the washing, but more to go today. DH has the dentist for 1.5 hours, deep fill filling - rather him than me I'll go round Donny market while he is there, want some fresh food as fridge rather empty after the hols.
Trying not to think about the ironing - Amie want some more??:D
House needs a serious blitz before visitors a week on Wednesday, oh joy. (the cleaning not the visitors!) Must rope DH in;)
Probably call at either Lidl or Aldi on the way home for anything I don't get on the market.
After the questions yesterday took the plunge and ordered the Panasonic BM, and I think DH is fancying have a play with it when it arrives. Was talking to a fellow 'vanner in France who says she gets flour direct from mills when she sees them, anyone know location of any around Yorkshire?
(((Hugs)))) celebration congrats as needed/wanted.
Didn't see Jackie0 yesterday, is she OK?
Hi Mic's Chick - you must have joined in while I was galavanting around France.
Take care

Penny, I did suggest a separate thread, but frogga wanted to keep to this one. Who should I PM to get an OS weight loss thread?? Edit: Thinking about it, weight loss IS Old Style - if we eat less, we buy less food and that saves us money and that is OS, isn't it?? So, as in any other OS thread, you don't have to read everything, do you?
Well, I've got apricot chutney on the stove right now, debating whether or not to get my hands all oniony and start the red onion marmalade one, or the chili jam........
washed some dishes as well, and got to get brekkie as well. might make a bacon + scr. egg buttie. got to use up the bacon! Not sure what I'm having for dinner tonight; there is a piece of veggie lasagne in the freezer, but I've got fresh veg to eat, too. hm.......0 -
Good Morning All
Glorious bright sunshine here, WM allready on, hope it finishes by the time I go to work, so I can peg it out.
It was too warm last night to cook the mince, so may end up doing it later, but with OH & DS, & Dlb's 3 Boys going to the football, it may have to be a quick grab from the freezer! They're going to see England under 19's, I think its at Notts County ground. Shows how much I know!
Solicitor's appt today at 4pm. Im feeling quite anxious about going, but I know it has to be done! My mum will be coming with me for support. I dont think exOH will be too happy if/when he receives a letter from them, but as he didn't respect my wishes, I see there is no other way, as he can no longer be trusted! Poor kids have been in a state since returning from holiday!
School trips have allready started. Just had to pay £10.50 for a trip for DD which will take place in October. Then £2.75 for DS for a SAT's revision examination book. That wasn't compuslory, but it gives him revision for the module's.
Right, after looking through the documents for the Sol, I have 4 pages on a questionaire to fill in, will crack on with that now,
Have a great day all

Morning Chums , have had a few bad days when I just had a job getting out of bed. I went to the wound clinic yesterday and discovered why I had felt so grotty .One of the dissovable stitches hadn't dissolved so the wound wasn't healing as quickly as it should .Cleaned out and packed properly, hopefully it will close now. I have to go back on Friday for a re-check, but things seem to be going a bit better now as I can actually use two hands to type.
I went to Maidstone Hospital last Thursday and I'm supposed to start Chemo in a couple of weeks, so it's off to have a shufti at the young men of Maidstone I guess;)
At the end of September I have booked myself a 'Pamper Day' at the Medway Maritime Hospital which is organised by the Medway & Swale Cancer Nurses.I am all for a bit of pampering, manicure Reiki Healing and massages I am going to have the works .:j
and why not, I am normally such a tough old bird and have felt very weepy and hormonal the last week for no apparent reason ,but that too is another jolly side-effect of this rotten disease.Still onwards and upwards. My eldest DD gave me a severe talking to and I feel back on track again. Its not going to get me , I WILL beat this bu%%er.:D
I have a friend coming down from Dartford today and we are going to my craft class this afternoon, first one I have been to for 6 weeks so I'm looking forwards to that.
I have had a go at driving, and it seems o.k. but I am only driving short distances for a little while to get used to using different muscles again.
I got a chicken out of the freezer, and will do chicken salad plus Melon for lunch , another milestone as I haven't cooked for ages .Its all baby steps before big strides (so my DD tells me).
Our little Mikey started school yesterday, bless him. I still think five mornings a week in Nursery is too long, but apparently its the norm now.He went off quite happily and settled in O.K. but my DD went home and was a bit tearful as its the first time in 14 years she hasn't had a little one around her feet.I know she misses him dreadfully as he is such a happy little soul and good company Still they do have to grow up eventually.
Well thats all from me for the moment folks I hope everyone has a good day. In North Kent at the moment, the sun is shining and the sky is blue what more can anyone want
<<<hugs>>> to those in need and a big fatto those who don't
