Excellent news! Well done. Happy new home 🏡Ecnubc said:Our MB has just called and our offer has just come through!!! I’m an emotional wreck but what a feeling!!!! Woooohoooo!1 -
Sorry I forgot to update - we got our mortgage offer last Thursday!!! 18 months of hard work sorting finances, saving a 25% deposit but we managed to finally get an offer. We was so chuffed and still are - just the legal side of things for the solicitors to sort now! Phew!1

Hi all, I have been lurking for a few weeks. So lovely to hear everyone’s success stories.
We currently have an application in. My husband has a immaculate credit record. Mine however is quite the opposite with several Defaults from 5-6 years ago.Our application has been in several weeks. We have been asked for extra bank statements, P60’s and identity verification. The valuation report came back a couple of weeks ago and all was good.
We have a 50% deposit and affordability shouldn’t be a an issue. However I do keep having that sinking feeling that we are not going to get a positive response. I think that’s mainly due to the very long and drawn out process.Loosing sleep 😴1 -
