On here sporadically and staring the ironing pile down....
    ....it's staring back harder :rotfl:

    Hope you avoid a full-on GQ x

Didn't the politician with the teddy bear collection stop washing his hair at all. He said it smelled like warm hay. He wore jumpers a lot.
The name will come to me eventually.

Good grief! I sound like my mother
Not dim ;) .....just living in soft focus :p
  • Answer to "doing tonight" being feeling somewhat shattered from a heavy duty gardening session. Still getting my garden "up and running" fully as per plan - not yet got to "keep it going - maintenance stage".

I'm positively up to my ears in strawberries - freezing them, drying them. I've got another bowl looking at me now - a bit more dried ones then I think.

Garden starting to show signs that one day it should look pretty lush. Food storage starting to show signs that one day I should have all sorts of jars of interesting dried foods awaiting my gustatory attention:)

    Doveling Gyles Brandreth I think.

What am I doing? Browsing on here, listening to TV, and thinking I really should be getting the dinner/supper/tea/evening meal :)

Failed in my holiday prepping. I've run out of books, and the flat we are staying in doesn't have any :(

My dad and cousins also failed to catch supper. Thankfully I was prepared for that ;)

    Yep! That's him.
I'm quite good at that game where you have to describe something to the person with the sticker on their head.

Can't think what the game's called either :rotfl:

Rocking & rolling my stupid foot over a tennis ball at the moment, time to take my drugs soon :D

    I'm living the dream, aren't I?

If you've got plantar fascitis Doveling, have you tried having your feet taped? incredibly uncomfortable in warm weather, but that's what finally sorted mine out. My physio did mine initially, but there are plenty of online guides e.g. https://heelthatpain.com/plantar-fasciitis/taping/plantar-fasciitis-taping/

When I see this thread listed on the 'Household & Travel' menu, it is called 'Prepping for the Brave'. :)

It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!
