Calm down matechange doesn't happen over night.
What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

Two of them were directly related to immigration.
and fortunately none of these promises is ever going to happen, £350m (or whatever number is accurate) is not going to the NHS, or in fact to any public service as it will continue to be paid to the EU, immigration and free movement numbers will not change, and Turkey has about as much chance of joining the EU as a leave voter has of liking them there foreign-types.0 -
In the year 2274, the remnants of human civilization live in a sealed city contained beneath a cluster of geodesic domes, a utopia run by a computer that takes care of all aspects of their life, including reproduction. The citizens live a hedonistic life but, to maintain the city, everyone must undergo the ritual of "Carrousel" when they reach the age of 30 There, they are vaporized and ostensibly "renewed."0

And now they've got over it and they're moving up again.
Well sterling plummeted and stayed there. It's lower than at anytime in my 30 odd year working life - that's not getting over it.
The markets are up because the bonkoids choice we've made means they expect a load of money to be thrown at them.0 -

Older people have voted for a future for young people that the young people do not want, that is not in their interests, and the older people will not live to see. Largely, as far as I can see, due to an anger about immigration that isn't shared by many people outside of their own age group.0

Though that assumes those that didn't vote would have voted for remain (or 75% of them would have)
You've raised a valid point here. I don't know why people assume non-voters would vote in a similar manner to the rest of their demographic. A good many of those that don't vote think it makes no difference to their lives either way."Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance" - Confucius0 -

I'd vote for a scantily clad Jenny Agutter everytime."Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance" - Confucius0 -
