Found 2x 1p roadkill today. I think people are being less careless with their coinage as it is quite rare to find any at the moment!

I have found more £1 coins this month than ever before up to £4.10 so far. Admittedly £1.80 of that was left in the self service till draw.

    Evening all,

Sorry for all the brief posts, constantly knackered towards the end of term.

Lost a SFD today as forgot my water for the school trip. So just an 80p spend. Spendy day tomorrow as it's the leaving do for several colleagues.

    Night all

You know what they say, brevity is the soul of wit :)
Sounds like life is a bit full on at the moment.

Bob sounds brilliant deal with your mortgage.

Thank you. I have to say the broker we have is amazing. We have been with her since 2008 and she has even given us a share in the commission she makes before.

    Hi all,

I have been really bad and fallen off the sugar waggon again which has resulted in me buying rubbish food nearly every day :(

I think I am on 4 NSD so need to pull my socks up!

Going to start being good again from Sunday as on a hen day tomorrow which will obv involve lots of eating and drinking! But not buying sugar today!

I'm working at home and the sun is shining so hoping it's warm enough for me to lie in the hammock at lunch time :) have got wm on so will hang outside.

Will be finishing work around 4 and heading to homebase to return a pot of wax and try and puck up a cheap roller blind. Also going to mr t for my shopping for the week. Going to prep lots of healthy food!

Have a nice day turtles :)

    I'm counting yesterday as a NSD even though I spent 5p ;)

Here's why: Had a £30 M&S voucher to use and decided to get myself a new pair of work shoes. Found a pair I liked for £15, then used the rest to get candles, chocs and cards for thankyous for teachers. Had £1.50 left to spend and we needed bread - bread was £1.55! So had to pay 5p but as I balanced that with a free Waitrose coffee, free Paperchase coffee and the free Drops of Youth sample from the Body Shop I have decided to count it as a NSD :D

Used up a flavour box that we got free from Simply Cook last night - was meant to be for Goan Fish Curry but we don't like fish so instead I used some butternut and peppers from the fridge that had seen better days and bulked out with tinned sweetcorn and frozen peas. It was delicious and enough for lunch today.

Won't have a NSD today because we're taking DS for pizza but I'm hoping to convince him to go home and make pizza instead!

I know it is a little early to say so, but today will be a NSD.

I am going to have a chilled day at home, do some baking to use up the fruit which is looking a bit worse for wear. Going to watch loads of chick flicks which I can't watch when my OH is at home (he is going out today), apply for jobs, update spreadsheets, do some planning for christmas (sorry to mention the C word in July!) and tidy up the house.

This weekend should also be spend free. I may have expenses on sunday but I'm trying to avoid them.

I am volunteering at a film screening on Saturday so will see that for free with my OH. Am planning on playing football on Saturday with my OH.

Sunday is the race for life!! 10k!! i expect i will walk most/a lot of it so don't be too impressed. I know lots of people from my football club doing it so we may meet up afterwards for a drink or something. So i will make sure today and tomorrow are NSDs so that I can have a drink if i so wish on sunday.

    Good luck today Turtles :)

Clippy girl oh how nice a turtle swinging away in a hammock. I would love one but knowing me I would fall out of it.

Florence J - good luck with the race for life.

Today really not getting anywhere in work, done loads but still have 2 desks full of paperwork and a tax inspection to look forward to next month.

Feeling weepy today, so rather than go and waste money on food to cheer myself up paid 20 pounds I was paying into EF off my debts, happy now below 3800 mark even if it is just a pound.

No plans for tonight, so no spending, physio after work
SFD including today stands at 7/20
Food after yesterdays shop 64.86/100 no more little shops for me this month.

Tomorrow planned to go and watch some bands locally, small spend and hopefully rain will keep off?
