    My 8th NSD in July.

I WFH today and full of energy. Just shows it's the commute (and train delays) that drain me

I’m tempted to go out to drop off the decluttering at the CS but if I do I know I’ll spend something as there isn’t anything ‘treaty’ in the house.

No exercise. I could go out and walk to drop off at the CS but as I say, I’ll be tempted…

    washing loads and on line
    X1 X1 X1

    washing up, drying, packing away
    X1 X1

    Decluttering
7 hardback books to CS (I could hardly carry them, they are so heavy)
1 large candle in glass jar
    1 pair shoes thrown away
1 dinner plate decluttered by breaking it accidentally!

papers packed for shredding at work

cleaned and disinfected dustbin (yuk job)

    TIP
Face cream tube empty? cut open, loads inside :)

Ate healthily all day and having a lamb chop and veggies later :)

I hope my fellow turtles had a good day :)

I'll come and do your painting calling if you come and put my net curtain up. Tried six times and it goes in so far then bounces out again. May just put the curtains up as front room is tidy atm.

Yesterday evening walk was taking a big pack of laminate underlay back (with dolly's help) to claim the money back (£24 credited back onto my bank card. When the laminate was taken up in my room, the old underlay was fine. As soon as the laminate man had gone DS3 wanted to know how soon he could have his room back (had moved everything into the centre so that his edging could be done).

Only the bed and three small sets of drawers in my room plus about six bags and boxes of 'stuff'. Made a start today by completing my accounts and submitting my tax return. WTC would not play ball. They wanted to send me a new access code. Sent a note saying I had no mobile phone and as my laptop had died I was using the one in the library. Also pointed out that last year I spent an hour giving them various secure information (Experian Identity Service Account) that was supposed to make things easier in future years.

DS3 still cannot submit his tax return - continually redirected to the wrong page. came away as my attempts to help infuriated him (was actually angry with them, not me).

Hoping to get invites to mum's party done this evening (nearly bought pirate invites when a quick count shows I might be doing 21 of them) then those can be posted (only one or two) or hand delivered (walk - bus - walk) tomorrow. Hoping the freezer is soon down to a level where I can start filling it with meals and party bits (hm quiches, vol-au-vents, mini pigs in blankets etc).

Party invites will use up some old card stock and going to use assorted its of embroidery that have been lying around too long. Will also start rounding up bits for the charity bin. Desperate for a skip (kitchen is full of old broken wardrobe/ laminate and bits that don't seem to belong to anything else - oldest bit about 20 years old, average 12/13. I think Justin has had his chance but sending it off in a skip is very environmentally unfriendly.

Today I am grateful for getting the nasty paperwork out of the way, for the glorious smell of a recently planted garden and for DS£'s left over pizza (had picked up the box to bin it and there was some left - not diet friendly though).
My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.

Mothernerd guessing you are using wire to put nets up. I like curtain rods better, I have used with voiles more robust.

My dd paid for my meal out last night woo hoo.

Today finally went food shopping Aldee £40 which should last me good while. Well if I can ever stop eating. Naughty me bought some sour cream today lovely jacket potato with it and bacon, salad to look tad healthy.

Had a purge on my front garden, cut grass, bushes, managed to weed path, but weeding bit is uncomfortable with hamstring pulling. Got physiotherapy tomorrow so thought I would push myself. Did a small walk keep it moving.

Decluttered a dress to a friend who was made up by it. Was given it by a relative but too big for me. Nice feeling making someone happy.

May have an early night as feel worn out, work mega busy.

Not yet Bob, I have been away with work and haven't had chance to go through the banking. A job for the weekend.

Finally managed a NSD yesterday which puts me on a grand total of 4. I may get another one Sunday but not tomorrow as will need to d a food shop and we have an appointment at the passport office for a new passport for DS, I daren't wait for one through the post as we go in 4 weeks.

We start our PT sessions on Sunday. Not sure if we have to pay up front for the 10 (its a special deal) or as we go along.

    Hi All

Almost the weekend again already! where does the time go?

It sounds like people have been making good progress with their goals.

I have managed to get an ad up on the local forum for my new business. I have also registered with 2 new websites that allow you to list your space. Next step will be getting the leaflet ready and out to as many places as I can.

Right off for a cuppa before bed. Ker knackered today.

    Night

Found 2x 1p roadkill today. I think people are being less careless with their coinage as it is quite rare to find any at the moment!
