Evening All
Not masses to report today. Financial advisor says we should have our offer back tommorow but looks like we got the £297 per month better deal. Crossing fingers and toes till I know for sure.
YS pizza for dinner. One with £3 off one with £2 off. And garlic bread. Which leads me to my frugal tip of the day, in Mr T 2 frozen baguettes costs £1.05 but in the 'fresh' section the same thing costs £1.50 why would it matter that a garlic baguette you plan to toast is fresh?
Apply the principal to all sorts of produce and there is gold in them thar hills:rotfl:
Chickpeas for example are often cheaper in the 'ethnic' aisle than the tinned veg asile.
Snack packs of raisons or a 1kg bag in the baked goods aisle for a fraction of the price.
See what you can find and report back.
Found 1p roadkill, & posted off my last ebay sale which was actually a bit of a damp sqib after postage. But its one less item in my house:T

I now always get the big bags of raisins for the kids.
We often buy our meat (lamb, chicken), from the halal store/butcher. Often cheaper than the supermarket or high street butcher but better quality.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -

Morning chums.
Delighted to forecast today as a NSD.
A contractually long event day means they pay for breakfast and lunch and with dinner already planned and prepped - I'm sorted.

Tesco diced lamb is 11.67 per kilo, the last halal diced lamb we bought was 9 per kilo and it was good meat no grizzle or anything. Not sure why it's cheaper.
DH made a rather MSE decision now not to go away at for a long weekend at the end of June. He realised all the things we want to do in the house and garden and how much that would cost. We'll maybe go away in the first October break week.
Another SFD today - 5 in a row :j. Not much else to report.
