Morning
Love the mini challenge bob
- Ticked off a big chunk of activity. Be it walking a mile, running 5k, spending 2 hours gardening or going for a swim.I am going to do 11,000 steps a day. This is a norm for a week day when I'm at work but much trickier at the weekends. If it brightens up this afternoon, I'll walk the dogs separately and tomorrow I need to do loads of marking but will aim to walk as far as necessary as well.
- Found at least 3 items in your home that you can sell. So glad you said this, I've been trying to decide whether to sell or charity shop a couple of items so will list them.
- Create your weekend menu with what you already have in. Post up what you are having. Any newly purchased food items must be accounted for here and judged by your turtle peersI'm afraid I just went food shopping, however I only bought lunch items for the next week, pets food and a couple of cleaning products. So lunch today is ys piri piri chicken breasts in cobs and dinner is sausages, mash and veg (bought potatoes today) and tomorrow is the same for lunch and pizza for tea (bought cheese today). All the other meals for the week are from the freezer and have already been batch cooked.
- Take 1 step towards your perfect home vision. Today I'm going to clear out each clothes drawer and wardrobe and follow the Marie Kondo method of if you don't love it, let it go.

Good morning All
This weekend our mini challenge is to hit all our challenge goals by 1%, this is an unscientific 1% so dont worry. But by the end of the weekend I would like you to have
- Ticked off a big chunk of activity.
Hours dog walk each day and a 50 minute run tomorrow (longest run I will have done in months)
- Found at least 3 items in your home that you can sell.
Tough one this as we had a massive de clutter before we moved
- Create your weekend menu with what you already have in. Post up what you are having.
Smoothies/cereal/bacon for breakfast
Sandwiches/omelette and fruit for lunches
Hunters chicken, veggies and wedges and ice lolly today
Roast pork all the trimmings STP and ice cream
- Take 1 step towards your perfect home vision.
I have 3 messy areas/clutter from the move that need sorting 1) The porch 2) The utility room and 3) The Offfice which is where all the stuff that needs to go in the loft is still sat there (actually some is in our room as a reminder for DH as it is getting on my nerves now;)) I aim to sort all 3 by the end of the weekend
Great mini challenge Bob:)
Spent yesterday on the home delivery and £2 for a tea on an early train. Today DH has spent £10 on a hair cut and £3 on DS Karate lesson. DH has been using my hairdresser at £38 a go  but has gone to the barbers we took DS to last week and they have done a great job.
I need to get hairspray and frozen rasps (for smoothies as I have one every day for breakfast) as I missed them off the order by mistake!

i am currently decluttering my laptop, phone and ipad. my laptop does my head in with constant updates, slow etc so trying to tidy up. typically i replace it every 3 years and this is now 3 years old but i only really use it for excell, word and itunes. if it wasn't for itunes i would just use my work laptop (can't put my msic on it or sync my phone etc).
I do not need a nice shiney macbook:drool:
Have done my kind deed of the day by giving my airbnb guests a lift to the wedding they were going to it. they had planned to walk but it absolutely poured down when they were leaving
have done my washing and now debating wheher to hang it outside as the app says no rain and the thick cloud is white again
I am also going to deep clean the kitchen today and wax my dining room furniture that i chalk painted two weeks ago. also going to clearout a few dumping drawer in my bedroom
have a good day turtles:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0 -
I have done some exercise - 3x 12 lunge + 12 squat + 12 side lunge + 12 jump lunge + 12 jump squat + 12 side lunge jump + 6 belly blaster. Tookme under 10 mins,so I am slowly building up again.
Pottered in the garden too - picked some blackcurrants, tied back some rasp canes and thinned out the apples so they have room to grow.
Dh went for milk plus a couple of bits, and came back with just a smidge more... So not a 'pass' grade on that part as we are having the white fish in hm batter and hm chips tonight.
And I have cleaned the bathroom basin - it is a soap scum and limescale magnet!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
So, not a great update, we've been utterly !!!!! with money recently. I was careful and meal planned, but spen over £100 in Tesco last night, plus we've already done about 4 or 5 top up shops. I'm so disappointed. Going to be so strict with buying food the rest of the month (somehow) I have written down what we have in the freezer. Our biggest thing is that I have a shed load of potatoes and we never eat them all. I must figure out how I can freeze them so they don't go off in the basket. Urgh. Clear all Debt in 2020 #97 WE DID IT!! DFD June20200 -
Evening all,
Not a NSD today as I ordered some new sports bras (using birthday money) and also a new external hard drive. Mine isn't big enough so needed an additional one.
I did deep clean the kitchen (omg under the washing machine was totally rank _pale_:shocked: )
Then I painted the fence panels, had a little lie down in the sunshine then painted the shed. Shed looks really nice from a distance but up close it looks awful. Think it's going to need 3 coatsbut at least it doesn't take long to do so should be able to do 2 coats tomorrow and third on fence if it needs it. Need to weed the garden and trim the roses as well. Forcast is cloudy but dry fortunately.
Knackered now so in my pjs and about to have curry and nann. Going to veg in front of more Chicago PD with some of my colleagues hm raspberry gin:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0 -
Cleaned up downstairs today and ticked the porch off my 3 areas to improve my prefect home vision. I couldn't get in the utility (apart from a quick vac) as the heating engineer was in there all afternoon getting our hot water back on. Got a quote to have the whole central heating system rewired and it is less than I thought and worth considering for next year.
We had the curtain lady around today to give us a quote on some new curtains and blinds but we need to find some fabric we like before we can get the final figure.
We have been out with the dog for over and hour and I am currently on 19,444 steps and DS and I have done some colouring in.
Bought the hairspray and berries I needed as well as some beer and snacks.
DS is out with his grandparents tomorrow and DH and I will crack on with some more jobs in the house.Save £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%

bob - thank you so much for the mini challenge, it has really motivated and focused me today
I did the food shopping (combination of aldee and asder), picked up one specific item from c00p and one from the pharmacy. Went through all my clothes and shoes. Listed three items on eb4y and took the rest to the charity shop or for rags. Felt very therapeuticThen I went to the garden centre to spend the £20 I had allocated from my marking money for new plants. Found a lovely little shrub that should get quite big, so went home and moved a couple of little plants to accommodate it with room to grow. Then I tackled a huge frog - I bought three large plant pots a few years ago and proudly planted them up however afterwards I realised there hadn't been any drainage holes and one of the pots has never ben able to keep a plant alive in it. Today I emptied all the soil/compost and some very stagnant water from the large pot, I managed to make some drainage hole using a variety of tools (don't own a drill) and then went and bought more compost and another plant
Feeling really proud of myself for not giving up as the whole thing took hours.
I have done over 13,000 stepsand ate pretty healthily
Hope you've all managed to stay dry.LBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

Boring update alert
I was at work today
I posted my food plan yesterday
I did a small planned shop. I’m working on Monday (my usual day off) so will do another small shop tomorrow in Ald*
Too tired to achieve anything else. I will make up for it tomorrow when I have a little more vim and vigour
I’m working on my hall entrance. I cleaned half the paintwork yesterday. I’ll finish off tomorrow. My bike is in the hallway too. It is a cluttered entrance that needs attention. I have a shelf of knick knacks that is pointless. It’s coming down…
