Thriftylass I got the idea from this recipe but I usually just chuck in any veg I have - have done it with aubergines and cauliflower before instead of broccoli and it worked really well!

Hi turtles
Did a wee shop today bits and bobs food wise in Home Bargains, needed stock cubes, wraps.... SFD gone again but good news just five pounds spent.
Very excited for tonight's football match, so proud to be Welsh whether they win or lose done amazing to get this far.
Hopefully get a walk in between gs being collected and the game as my weight is just going in the wrong direction.:( Did a nice walk last night and my leg felt better, so moderate exercise helps.
Mothernerd - good luck with weight loss, I going to try to lose a stone by 6th August - so I didn't collect the free beer today - I don't need it and plus had problems printing voucher out (free to welsh peeps)
Welshkitty - well done on getting to under 1k:T Keep going
doingitanyway - haven't had an omelette for a while and really enjoyed it so going to have it more often and its so quick, plus good for diet.
Bob - Thanks for not putting me on naughty step for my trainers.
apple - howling at Mothernerd in a time warp, can someone put me there as well as I seem to be falling short in completing anything lately.
Yesterday de- cluttered coffee table - gave to friend - kindness act too:)
Cat woman there have been some nasty viruses around this year. My friends husband died couple of weeks ago from a flu virus and sad thing they thought he was getting better. Such a shock and he wasn't that old.

Calling14, I understand your excited about the football. As a welsh resident I am very happy for them. Even my dad who was initially against me moving to Wales has suddenly done a complete change of tune and is supporting Wales.Debt Free Stage 1 - Completed 27/08/2020

Grrrr so this morning started well, recieved a £150 bid on my meat slicer. As it was on for £250 i counter offered for £200. He offered £180 & said as a new business he is watching every penny. So I agreed at £180. Then he starts emailing saying I had it listed in a different location than I did and he couldnt collect it anymore. So annoyed. But it's now relisted." Daily check-in
A difficult day and very spendy too. I lost my travel card
I had some exercise as I cycled to get passport photos. They should have cost £5 but the machine was faulty and it would not continue until I added an extra £1
Got my travel card sorted. It cost £20 for admin, £6 for photos and 65p for a stamp AND I need to wait for it to come back by snail mail, so I have to pay fares in the meantime
Tonight, I am having a Greek salad with a few skinny lamb chops on the side
Spekysquarehead, you’ve made me rethink my lunch hour. I often watch joggers where I work. It never occurred to me to be one. We have showers at work so it would be a good way to get some exercise and avoid spending money. Good idea
Applemuncher I like that you count veg. Such a good idea. If you can eat 10 veggies the rest pretty much takes care of itself
Mothernerd I love the red begonias outside the civic centre. They cheered me up and I didn’t even see them
Later I intend to do my eyebrows
I was kind to the customer services person dealing with my replacement travel card. I was kind because I didn’t kill her

Evening all,
I just lost a spendy day to a tub of ben and jerry's. Ooops! However, on the plus side, this is the first one I have bought in months and a few years ago it used to be a daily thing. Although saying that when I ate ice cream everyday I as much thinner (oh and I had Indian take away for tea most nights).
Tomorrow I am on a training course all day so food is provided and that should keep me out of trouble, plus I still have some ice cream left so I won't be needing to buy that again.
I have just had confirmation of another marking payment being made this weekI will be paying this off my debt, although I think I will keep back £20 for a couple of new plants for the garden and £30 for a social activity I hadn't budgeted for.
My tip for the day is to eat for free as much as possible. Yesterday we had a fuddle so today I had my lunch from the leftoversLBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)
